Fresh Face… Teen Looks

If you’re looking for a teen skin then the 2 new skins from Fresh Face, Violet and Jasmine, may just be what you’re looking for.

When I slipped into the Violet skin I instantly fell in love with the face. It’s a wholesome, girl-next-door face that is absolutely adorable. I’d say if you want a 14-15 year old look this skin is perfect for you. Don’t take my word for it, take a look for yourself.

As for Jasmine, I’d say her age would be more of the 18-19 year old and very pretty in her own right. Jasmine can use some freckles though, I think I have some, now just to find them. LOL

One the things I love about these skins is they are bare so you can use all your makeups on them. I tend to go for a lot of bare-looking skins because they are so much more versatile and that’s important when you are on a budget.

As with all Fresh Face’s skins, they come in 4 tones with 3 types of breasts, a shape and of course tango appliers for those who want them.

Draconic Kiss @ World Goth Fair

One of the few stores I shopped at when I was beginning my phase of gothic lolita in SL was at Draconic Kiss I loved all her dresses and I loved that you could win them also in a lucky chair. Oh how I stalked that chair with a vengeance. The prices at Draconic Kiss were pretty reasonable and she was one of a handfull of EGL designers that gave items on all clothing layers. When sculpts became more prevalent in clothing, she dove head forward into creating lots of lovely sculpted items. She is not just a EGL designer she also designs some of the most rad costumes ever. For a while we hadn’t heard from the creator behind Draconic Kiss and then out of nowhere she released her first mesh dress. It was so beautiful with the floral designs on the skirt.

Now you are wondering…Hey Lola! quit with the yapping and show us some pictures already. So I will digress into my first picture. The first item being offered by Draconic Kiss is the Lillabeth Outfit that features a mesh corset and skirt that are menu driven by a hud. This particular item is a 100% donation item for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. I am always wearing the Black Widow Necklace which is a 50% donation to WGF.

The last outfit is called “Wilted Blossoms” and is a 50% donation. This particular outfit is available in several colors. I love the floral detail on the dress. I am wearing the color “Putrid”.

Sn@tch & Nuuna’s Skins @ World Goth Fair

Today I’m focusing on two brands for this particular post. The first is the lovely skin by +Nuuna’s Skins+ and the other is the lovely partial mesh outfit from Sn@tch. Nuuna is known for her beautiful makeup tattoos and recently her skins have been garnering much needed acclaim. Nuuna has always been super talented. Even before she opened her store I loved her blog and the looks she created with each post. When she came out with a store, I bought a few things. But I always know if I want uniquely beautiful makeup I can go to her store. The skin I purchased at World Goth Fair during Blogger Preview Day was the exclusive version and it was pretty affordable at 300L. As for Sn@tch I think I have sang my praises of Ivey many of times on this blog. The outfit she has set out as a exclusive item is available in a gajillion colors as always.

Up first I’m going to give you a close-up of the corset and the wonderful skin. I am wearing another pair of eyes from RUE called princess. And I accented my outfit with accessories from Bliensen + MaiTai.

The outfit also comes with gloves and leather pants. I decided to wear my fave pair of heels with the outfit by N-Core, but you can wear a nice pair of boots with the outfit also.

:{MV}: at World Goth Fair

So about a month ago I discovered :{MV}: aka Malfean Visions owned by Lokii Violet. I was so excited to find a new goth store with a ton of amazing items. I loved how all her creations intermingled with each other. What I really lusted for were her boots and shoes. I mean this lady makes some sexy shoes and boots. And well since I like to hoard I welcomed them to inventory wholeheartedly.

There are three special outfits set out as exclusive items at WGF. I am going to showcase all of them. And yes this post is going to be picture heavy since I also wanted to showcase the lovely skin by Voshie Paine for la petite morte. Voshie has 6 makeup versions for the ophelia skin line and the 6th makeup version is an exclusive version for WGF.

First up is the Isabella Dress. I chose the color Vitae because it sounded all kinds of exotic to me. Lo and behold it was a beautiful dark red color. I love the lace piping detail on the bodice and the intricate fabric detail. I especially loved the skirt, it reminded me of the styles of skirts that are currently in right now, the high/low skirts.

The second outfit is the Bad Habit Dress. This dress is a strapless tube dress with wonderful texture work. It features a upside down crucifix as a design on the bottom of the dress so I pulled out one of my fave makeups from Sn@tch to match the dress. The dress is short and sexy and shows a fun playful side with just a splash of color. The texture work is amazing as always.

Last but not least is the Hallows Dress. This outfit comes with a underbra corset and a posture collar along with a lovely pair of boots. I loved how beautiful the pieces worked together and I didn’t have a hard time fixing things to my size (i.e. the prim skirt). I loved the rich colorful texture work and I can’t believe but Lokii got me to wear pink items 2 times in this post LOL.

Plastik @ World Goth Fair

One of the things I love about Aikea, creator behind the brand Plastik, is her ability to create lovely gothic skins and clothing to match. So its not a surprise that she is involved with World Goth Fair. In this post I’m showcasing her new skin, new tanktop, and new dress. I accented the outfits with pieces from other stores that are also participating in World Goth Fair.

So…my face I wanted to keep it simple this time around but I wanted dramatic eye makeup. While walking around World Goth Fair I saw this beautiful makeup by mock cosmetics. The eyelashes from Kosh made it pop more but I decided to take them off during my tank top pics. The dress I am wearing in the below picture is called “Nadia – Ribs” and I love how it shows some skin to be sexy but leaves a little to the imagination. The necklace I chose to accent the look is from The Little Bat and its a 50% donation item for WGF.

So this is the full body look. I thought it would be fun to use the cloud by for a more dramatic picture. See alot of people think that goths are all doom and gloom and have this dark aura following them. So this goes out to you, for not really knowing what a goth truly is.

The last item I will be showing you is the “Mayalie Top – Muerte”. I chose muerte because I assumed it had to do with sugar skulls and I was right. I decided to pair up the top with pieces from :{mv}: because I felt they added to the aesthetic of the tank top. This time around I am wearing a necklace by Draconic Kiss, one of my fave Gothic Lolita stores in SL.

The last picture is a closeup of the tank top and the eyemakeup. I am also wearing eyes from RUE and they are amazing!

Sakide, Plastik, Bliensen & MaiTai, & Half-Deer @ World Goth Fair

I know you are wondering what in the bloody hell I’m doing trying to shove in so many brands in one post. Well since I just received these blogger packs within the last two days I’m trying my best to showcase as many as I can before World Goth Fair officially opens tomorrow.

I decided to blog all of the outfits that Sakide was offering as special items for World Goth Fair. And I knew that the skin on offer from Plastik would be a great match with the outfits. I coordinated the outfits with jewelry/hair accessory by Bliensen + MaiTai and finished of with some wicked horns by Half-Deer.

The first look is the Inkubus outfit by Sakide. I chose purple because it is the color I’m associated the most with in SL. I knew I had to kick up my look so I pulled out some of my favorite makeups by +Nuuna’s Skins+. I loved the contrast and fell in love with the look immediately. I am also wearing 2 sets of tattoos, and if you look closely it appears a tentacle is sneaking out my nether regions, never fear its just a awesome Cthulhu tattoo LOL.

The second look reminded me of something JLo would wear and I chuckled a bit and I was like what what boricua in the house. So I kept the look simple, the bodysuit is named Lucretia (btw a awesome song by Sisters of Mercy) and it comes with a collar so need for a necklace but I still kept the hair accessory. Nothing like a dead moth just chilling in your hair.

The last outfit is called Concubine, so I went for the Dark Red Color. I thought about going classic goth with the look but I just couldn’t pull myself away from the look I created so far. So I kept the makeup the same and added a necklace by Bliensen + MaiTai.

All of the items by Sakide are mesh and are available in assorted colors and sizes. The lovely skin designed by Aikea is extremely beautiful and comes with a gajillion options like usual. Bliensen + MaiTai has more releases available for World Goth Fair, I just sampled a few. Last but not least the amazing horns by Half-Deer. I love the color and style of the horns. So once the Fair begins jump and buy these awesome items you won’t regret it.

Great items @ World Goth Fair

Today I’m going to showcase items from some really amazing stores. Alot of us are aware of lassitude & ennui for their amazing meshwork on shoes, clothing, jewelry, and etc…

The picture below was me playing around with windlight, I started off wearing the dress that jackal released as a RFL item at Fantasy Faire but this morning I decided to wear a different dress.

I decided on a dress from a store that is new to me, ^v^DRBC^v^. I loved the texture work and it was sexy and worked well with the macabre jewelry set.

Last but not least, I need to talk about this skin. Really fellow goths on my plurk timeline how have I not ever heard of this store. Faerycat Designs created one of the most beautiful gothic skins and you can purchase lipsticks seperately. I went for a more classic gothic look and used one of the dark red colors with lip liner. Also, I can’t forget about the appliers for SLINK hands and feet. I had to play with my new SL mesh hands now and I finally was able to with the skin applier hud. I threw on some nails from Kosh to finish my look.
