Oldie But Goodie Post by Lola
Earlier today a few of my friends on Plurk had shown some of their older items they had lingering in their inventories and they had mentioned to me a blog challenge that is currently going on. I think I might try and keep up with these blog challenges as a means to keep this blog active and also so I won’t be lazy.
It’s a running joke with my friends about my inventory and how it is a atrocity and they always wonder how I even get dressed in SL. I NEVER clean my inventory. I mean I rezzed in SL on 7/2/2007 and I have not really deleted much from my inventory. I tried the whole inventory sorting parties and I even tried cleaning my inventory but I just can’t do it. I get incredibly bored and I end up unpacking things I find in my objects folder and I make my inventory even worse than what it was originally. I am pretty sure SL has eaten tons of things in my inventory but I live in complete ignorance XD. I just keep building and buying. I am a skinwhore. I admit it. I have fatpack disease.
Well now that I am done giving you a background of how bad my inventory is……let me show you my epic outfits. I have always considered myself somewhat goth. In SL and RL. So when I rezzed in SL the first thing I looked for was really nice goth clothes. My friend Willow gave me some lindens to buy hair and I did alot of camping to win these lovely outfits and I bought this awesome skin from my prize money from club events.
As you can see, this outfit is sooo 2007. The boots are huge and the outfit really has no prims. But I camped for several hours to get the entire outfit and boots. I got my eyes from a hunt at Philotic Energy and I always wore them. At the time I joined SL, the store 7DeadlyPrims was going out of business so I scored mega huge on the lovely lip piercing. I eyed that skin from Nomine for months and after saving all my club winnings I swooped in all ninja like and spent my 1K Linden on my very first Nomine skin. I wore that skin to death!!! It was my skin!
But I can’t end this post without showing you the very first EGL/Gothic/Victorian store I lurked for hours on end. I would spend hours gawking at the designs by Miss hyasynth Tiramisu. I really adored all her designs and then one day she had a sale at ~silent sparrow~ and I bought 2 outfits with the remainder of my club winnings lol. This outfit I am going to show you is what I termed my “Dead Sexy” outfit. I seriously thought I was hotness when I wore this outfit with my Chai skin and them super sexy stilleto-ish heels. Oh yeah those heels I camped for 2 hours wearing. Black Arts <3 Oh how I loved you during my noob days. You allowed my hoochie goth self the ability to have lovely gothic attire for free!
Check out the neckline on this lovely dress! Its stunning! Sadly this dress/outfit was retired a while ago so you can’t have it XD In this picture you get a better view of the tattoo I wore out like it was yesterday’s news. It was my trademark tattoo. I will not hide the fact that I am a HIM fan and the only reason I bought this tattoo was because it has a Heartagram on the back. I am not sure if they still sell this tattoo but it was my favorite tattoo for about a year or so until I discovered other tattoo stores in SL.
