Stop and Stare!

Ever sit there and get inspired to do something? Well lucky for you guys I actually got inspired to blog for once. I have a few items I wanted to share with you ranging from new clothes, kicks, and furniture.

First up is some really great items from LeBloom by Heather Connolly. She has released a ton of great new releases over the past week and I am absolutely in aww with all her sparkly items. Who told Heather about my shiny thing complex? Anywhooo……I love the glitter on the hot pants she released and also the glitter accents on her brand new pair of sexy stiletto heels.

Can you see how sexy this outfit is? I mean check out the detail on the corset! It is absolutely stunning and the hot pants are a great compliment to the corset. As you may have noticed I have some really sexy long slender legs in this post. I would love to thank the creator Hybie Mynx of Savoire Faire Shapes for making such a lovely and shapely shape that I swiped up in a hot second when I saw the ad in her store this evening.

Hybie does an excellent job on the facial features. I am wearing the Rogue shape and I love everything about this shape. In the above pic you get a better idea of how beautiful the shape is and also get a sneak peek at some really awesome makeup by Vitani Jun of ni.ju. I love having a unique look in SL so you will often see me with odd colored eyes thanks to Yukio Ida of GAUZE.

So back to the new releases by LeBloom…..I love love the shape of this dress. It’s called “Bella Bubble Dress” and there are a variety of textures to choose from. I chose the green paisley print since its not something I typically wear and I wanted to try something different. I love Heather’s use of colors on this dress and they mesh well with her shoes.

You may have noticed I took all my pictures in one location. Yes its true…I rarely leave my skybox! But I have the best skybox ever! It is roomy, nice lovely realistic textures and its made by the most awesome creator behind the brand Starstruck.

The skybox was a prior release for the Freestyle 4.44.444 event last year so unfortunately its no longer available. All the furniture in the picture are from Starstruck. I love her use of color and her intricate texture work. Cyclic’s work is incredibly impeccable. The red sidestand with the lovely decor is a current item for the FTLO-Millenium Hunt. Look for the 1L item and you can get this Mesh Sidetable to add to your house decor. The decor on the table is not included with the table, they are great items from a variety of stores that I shall list in the credits.

So if you ever get inspired to go shopping I recommend you check out the stores I mentioned in this post! Hell…go shopping you know you want to…I mean your clothes are already sooo last week you need to update your look as well as your homes!

Hey did you know today is Ivey’s Birthday? Well just in case you were wondering I thought I show myself here on this blog with a quick post. This is what I am wearing atm and it’s all Sn@tch clothing.

I picked up these awesome mesh boots at lassitude & ennui this weekend for La Venta Eventa. They are a preview of a upcoming line and I absolutely adore them. It has the casual/elegant/vintage chic look to it that can make any outfit look awesome.

I am also wearing a new mesh hair from Alice Project. I blame my friend Jacq for telling me about her countdown to New Year’s special because I went a little crazy on buying new mesh hair XD.

New Goodness at Somnia

Earlier this week I received a notecard from Sanura Snowpaw, owner of Somina, and decided to drop by her shop today and picked up a few nice items.

I first met Sanura a couple of years ago when I had my own shop and she was organizing an event and asked if I wanted to participate. She’s very nice and when I put on her clothing, I was quite pleased. Looking at her earlier items and her current items, I can definitely see a progress in her design work. With each release she keeps getting better. I love her detail work, especially.

I’m staring off with her new Tweed Waders and I paired it with an older item, Harlequin Cardi. Both items come on all layers in a multitude of colours.

While checking out the cardi’s I spied her Cords and had to pick those up. I’m wearing them with the new Striped Queen Sweater. Again like all her items, come on all possible layers and you get multiple colours in one pack.

Lastly, a lovely little flirty dress I adore. It comes in 5 different colours and perfect for day or night, depending on your accessories.

Lola79 Hienrichs, owner and creator of Lolapop!, came out with new yumminess today for all us gothettes out there in SLville. A beautiful long, cameo necklace with matching earrings and a tiny tophat. It’s a stunning set and I love having another classy piece to wear with my formal gothwear. This is definitely a goto jewellry set for my wardrobe.

A New Favourte Hair shop

I discovered some very cute hair today and wanted to show it off. It’s by tram, who also designs some awfully cute clothing and a few furniture pieces.

What delighted me the most were the memories wearing the hair brought up. I can remember many, many years ago as a teenager wearing some of these styles. I loved them then and still love them now.

You can tell how much I like these designs as I spent close to $2,000L today LOL I couldn’t help myself I had to have so many styles.

Fantasy’s SeVered GarDeN

Last week I found myself at a new to me store called SeVered GarDeN and after a quick look around was quite captivated by what I saw. Also, most of the store is outside and the location is beautifully decorated. I’d say the majority of the outfits I looked at fall into the fantasy genre but don’t just think they all do, as I found a few lovely items anyone can wear. When visiting a store you really do need to look at everything; in my experience I always find something I can wear no matter the type of store.

I was giddy looking at everything I wanted LOL but I left and came back the next day to purchase what I really really wanted and would wear. I hate impulse shopping and I do it a lot in both lives but was able to hold back this time. hah But I did join the group and will be back. I am already looking forward to future releases.

I found the designs very well put together and if you are on a budget, the prices very reasonable. Also what I loved is the accessories you get along with the outfit. Sometimes jewelry, footwear, hair accessories, etc. You get the complete look, which is awesome.

Below are 5 of my favourite outfits I had to have but there’s so much more there. I do urge to to drop by and take a look at everything, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

First up are these sexy silks and includes the bracelets, arm bands and head piece.

This adorable bikini outfit comes with anklets, arm bands, a belt, flowers for your hair and an adorable backpack basket filled with water and flowers with little drops of water falling out. It’s sooo cute.

The following outfit is my most favourite. It’s a very sexy purple plaid, winter outfit that comes with the hat, stockings & socks, boots and mittens. I love the off-the-shoulder wrap and I’m a huge plaid fan.

I’d like to think this next outfit is for someone who lives in a forest taking care of trees and flowers. I love the colour combination and it comes with hair flower, scarf, belt, socks and a cute backpack.

This last outfit is her newest release (just a few days ago). It’s a very sexy bikini with one of the cutest wrap skirts I’ve seen. I love the netting and the shells and starfish hanging from it. The whole outfit comes with the starfish headpiece, necklace, bracelet, and anklets.

Weekends are meant for friends and silliness

This weekend I got to hang out with 2 of my best friends in SL. I rarely get to see them as much as usual because of the difference in timezones.

Last night Phire and I decided to be a tad silly. It started out with us getting matching Boho outfits and then the fun began.

Phire was telling me little dirty secrets and as you can see by my expression I really loved hearing them.

New Jewelry to share

It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged but two of my favourite jewellers have recently released a few new sets of jewelry and really loving them, I wanted to share them with everyone.

The first two pieces are designed by Mouse Mimistrobell from Dark Mouse. She creates some of SL’s most exquisite jewelry and has been a favourite of mine for awhile.

In the first photo I am wearing the very pretty “A Daisy” set and in the second, the more dressy up “Epoque” set.

And from Lolapop! comes “La Muerta” set (cameo colour changes) and “La Hada” set designed by one of my very good friends in SL and RL, Lola79 Hienrichs. I was here when she first opened her very first shop and over the years she has blossomed into a very good designer. In fact she’s recently started making jewelry in RL and the “La Muerta” cameo is a replica of something she has made.

Snatch’s Spring

Over the past 3 weeks Ivey Deschanel has been releasing Snatch’s spring line and what does Ivey say is hot for spring? From the looks of her releases I’d say it’s lots of colour, lots of patterns and lots of bare midriffs.

That makes my tummy really happy. After the long, hard winter I’ve had, all bundled up against the cold, I’m ready for some colourful, tummy showing clothes.

The items I’m showing today are from the past 3 weeks of releases of some of my favs. I always look forward to Fridays because I know there’s something I just got to have when I open my Snatch notecard.

My first look is for a night out dancing with the gang. The Jodi Hotpants and the Rocker Tops come in a multitude of colours and on all the layers. Easy to mix and match to get that wild look you want.

A couple of weeks ago Ivey released her Camp Jeans. They are low cut without being skanky. And I am in love with these Silk Halter tops. I love the pattern on them and the gorgeous colours. They will be a wardrobe staple for me for the spring and summer.

I paired the ’70′s inspired Groovy Top with the oh-so sexy Mambo Skirt. This beaded skirt is hot and perfect for dancing.

The Verna outfit are flower-patterned jean shorts and sheer wrap sweaters in various colours. Of course if you’re modest, you can wear a tank top underneath or even double up on the wrap sweaters but I love the sheerness. I love the patterns and colours used.

Marcia, Marcia, Marcia is a sweater and capri outfit that’s full of bright, fun colours. This is really fun to wear as anyone who has seen me in the fast few weeks can tell as I’ve worn it a lot. I can’t help it, I’m in love with the outfit.

Lastly, is the beautiful Jaded Scarf Dress that comes in pretty, patterned colours with black PVC leggings. I like the cut of the dress and my gothic heart was happy to see a bit of dark in the spring releases.
