Nomine Clothing

When I first joined SL Nomine was about the only store I could find alternative skins. Munchflower Zaius is one of the grid’s best skin designers, my skin folder tells me that *hah* :). But if you don’t know by now, she also designs some very nice clothing, for both men and women. I’m going to focus on some of my favouties designed my Munch.

Munchflower designs some very unique pieces and knows how to drape the female body. There’s a sensualness to her clothing. I love wearing everything she creates. Though most of her clothing tends to be on the alternative side, especially goth, as you will see below you will also find some items for the more modest of us. šŸ™‚

The Milkmaid Dress reminds one of a farmgirl, but the sheerness and cut of the top belies the innocence. All of Munch’s clothing comes on all layers possible and if you’re a bit modest can wear a couple of layers so the top isn’t so sheer. The dress does come in several colours.

The Promenade Gown takes us back to the 1900’s but the sheerness of the piece removes the austerity the dress could have become. The neckpiece, a prim of lace and feathers is gorgeous. I loved this dress as soon as I put it on and has become a favourite to wear.

The Horrid Sharkfucker Dress is a mid-calf length sundress in black only. Something for us goth’s to wear in summer finally LOL. I would love to have this dress in RL, it’s perfect, cotten and lace and I like the length. Not enough mid-calf dresses or skirts around SL.

The Siobhan Dress is my all-time favourite from Nomine. I wear this dress all the time. Full length black gown with a bit of lace at the cuffs and a square cut neckline, that clings to my curves in all the right places.

The Dust Storm Dress is a cute babydoll for my gothic soul. Even us goth girls like ruffles sometimes. Munch throws in a pair of over-the-knee socks for that naughty girl look.

Medea is a futuristic outfit coming in a few dark, gothic colours. I adore this and love wearing it with thigh high boots. The neckpiece is awesome. As you can see below, the piece is very sexy and needs a confident attitude to carry it off. No shrinking wallflower will be able to wear this.

My last gown is called Delilah. A sheer net body suit with leather pants and long leather skirt. I like to detach the skirt and put on big chunky boots for another sexy look as well. If you like to show off your body you’ll love this gown.
