+sanctuaire+ at The Main Event: Winter

Tomorrow the Main Event: Winter opens and +sanctuaire+ has some lovely christmas trees for us. These are beautiful mesh fir trees with multi-coloured or white lights already on them. It’s such a pain to have put lights on a tree so this is so easy. 😉 Both of these trees are at the event location. Each tree also comes with a hud that needs to be rezzed, that turns the lights on and off, and the blinking on and off.

At the main store are the ornaments for the trees. In both white or multi-coloured, you receive all the decorations, or just the star topper, or the ornament balls or the popcorn garland so there are many ways you can decorate the trees.

Cae at The Main Event: Winter Edition

Caelan Hancroft of Cae has designed the beautiful Frost Necklace and Earrings for her exclusives at the Main Event: Winter Edition. The design is a snowflake and comes with a hud in which you can choose between 10 gems and either silver or gold. I love the metal texturing, it’s like a liquid gold and silver. You can change the middle stone in the snowflake one colour and all the other stones another colour, or have all one colour (as you can see on the earrings in the photo below).

The necklace is located at the event location (which starts tomorrow, December 1st) and the earrings will be at the main store location (landmark is in the large ornament ball in the booth).

Loordes of London at the Main Event

The Main Event begins Sunday, December 1st and runs until the 14th. This event isn’t for any cause, it’s to help drive traffic and customers to main stores and it works this way. At the event location will be part of an exclusive item and the 2nd part of that item will be at the store location. (Each store’s landmark will be in their booth.)

Loordes of London’s exclusive items are the beautiful Cassani Car Coat, which will be at the event, and La Bastille leg warmers with shoes (which will be at the store). Both items are in a midnight blue and come in the standard mesh sizes. I really like these items and felt classy when I wore them.

At the booth location you can also find 2 more coats (in 2 colours each) which I love (they’re perfect for a casual winter stroll); a pair of ankle-high boots in 2 colours (I love boots like these for mini-skirts); and a pair of high-waist trousers, again in 2 colours (to me these pants have a 70’s feel, which I love). It’s my friend and co-blogger Lola’s birthday today. She has to share it with thanksgiving but we all know her birthday is way more important. We’ve been friends for over 10 years now and I loves her. I hope you have a very very very good day and send me some of that chocoflan please. 😉

The Main Event is coming!

Covert Affairs presents The Main Event, which starts this coming Sunday, December 1st and runs to December 14th.

This event will be a location-based event AND a main store event, in hopes of driving more customers and traffic to the main stores. Each stores’ product will not only be new, but of two parts… one part at the location and the second part found at the main store.

Fabulous Finds at The Thrift Shop

Every month there are new selections available at The Thrift Shop, there is something for everybody. I tend to navigate myself towards the dark and gothic apparel but this time around I found myself wearing lovely pastel colors by SAKIDE. The Thrift Shop only has a few more days until this round is over on November 30th, 2013; so hurry on over and check out all the awesomeness.

I put together two outfits for this post and yeah I’m doing some shameless promotion because guess what guys….Lolapop is back!!! When I saw the Jersey Knit Dresses by Sakide I knew that they would work perfectly with the tights I had picked up from Atooly. This time I actually wore a pastel color to shock all of you. I am also wearing shoes from a store that has become my new guilty pleasure, “Flite”. They have a unique marketing method, all releases are limited edition so you might want to join their inworld group or stalk their FLICKR to see when new items are being released.

The first outfit I am wearing dark red knit dress so I am more comfortable in my gothiness. I coordinated the outfit with a necklace from Goth1Co’s gacha and awesome hair from Magika. I loved how well the dress and the tights coordinated together. Atooly’s tights are one of my faves to wear because they have the right amount of shine and her ombre colors are always perfect. The nail closeup is of my Beauty School Dropout – Red manicure, available at my mainstore.

The second outfit I am wearing a pastel blue knit dress with ombre tights that go from pink to blue. I coordinated my outfit with the amazing gothic necklace by [M.V.] and another awesome hair by Magika. I also wanted to point out that there is a closeup of my Goddess Bubble Goth – Baby Blue nails that I created for my store Lolapop, I’m trying to get my store name out there and I truly hope this doesn’t annoy you and I guarantee you I won’t do it often;

Leri Miles has been busy!

Leri Miles’ store, LMD, is participating in an event and hunt. The Fall In Love event started November 23rd and you will find the sexy Stevie dress there. It’s a combination leather and cloth mini mesh dress, with a lace inlay in the top and zippers up the front. It comes in 10 colours and the standard mesh sizes.

The Candy Cane 5 Hunt begins today and runs ’til December 25th. In the Leri Miles main store you will find the Olani Dress in Candy Cane. It’s a retro-looking dress and the colour is perfect for Christmas. It comes in the standard mesh sizes.

And yes I’m late again, the 60 Linden Weekend ended yesterday but I find Leri usually leaves up her item for the week and changes it on the weekend for the next item so you still have time to get this gorgeous Pea Coat. It comes in 12 colours and the standard mesh sizes. I love that it is an open coat and perfect for fall walks, though not many of those left as winter is coming.

SySy Chapman lets her geek hang out!

SYSY’s is participating in the Geek ‘n’ Nerds event that started today. Growing up my favourite thing to wear was jumpers. I wore them all the way from elementary to high school. I love jumpers and almost always wore turtle necks with them. Why am I telling you this? Because SySy Chapman as an adorable corduroy mesh jumper out at Geek ‘n’ Nerds. It comes plain and with a pocket plus each jumper also has a black turtle neck; so many options with this. There are multiple colours and come in the standard mesh sizes.

SySy also has a gatcha machine with a sexy plastic skirt. Lots of colours with my favourite PINK as a rare. Two things that I love about this skirt; first is the fit – it’s perfect and moves so well and second, the shape of the skirt. This will be one gatcha you will have a hard time stopping beause you’ll want them all.

Geeks ‘n’ Nerds Fair starts tomorrow!

Running November 24th ’til December 1st, the Geeks ‘n’ Nerds Fair brings together some amazing content creators to share with us all their inner geek. One such is Hopscotch. Owner Chandni Khondji has something for Dr Who fans and trekkies, plus anyone who loves to cook.

The “Kiss the Cook” aprons are available for both men and women and come in the standard mesh sizes. There are 3 Dr Who inspired and 3 Star Trek inspired. Not only can you purchase these separately, but also in Trek fatpak, Who fatpak and overall fatpak. I’m particularly fond of the trekkie apron. 😉 In the photo below I am wearing the “gold” star trek apron, it also comes in blue and red.

SYSY’s at My Attic!

Another round of My Attic begins today and Sysy Chapman, of SYSY’s, has released the beautiful CoCo Suede dress to get us ready for winter. This dress has an empire waist and long sleeves and comes in a solid colour with a block of darker shade of the same colour. The dress fits all standard mesh sizes and there are 9 colours to choose from. The CoCo dress is currently only at The Attic for $95L.
