World Goth Faire – Post #2

This is the last week of World Goth Faire and you have until the 1st of June to check out all these amazing items. In this post I am showcasing items from stores that are relatively new to me and also my attempt at a furniture post. Please bare with me because there are a ton of pictures but I hope you enjoy them all!

First I want to start off with the lovely furniture created by 22769~bauwerk.

As you can see the creators behind the brand went above and beyond with their creations. My fave item is the Cthulhu Chair, it features a wide variety of sit poses that are included in all 22769~bauwerk items. The lamp was actually quite intriguing it was a bit more mystical looking for me but added the right gothic allure to the room. Not only did 22769~bauwerk create lovely furniture items, they also created a lovely gothic gazebo.

I also included some lovely items from ~By Nacht~ in the gazebo to add to my Cthulhu decor. I loved the statue and the lamp, each with tentacles popping out everywhere. This is another view of the Gazebo by 22769~bauwerk. You can see the lovely crucifixes adorning the top with a cathedral style top.

Now I am going to switch the focus of this post back to fashion. First I am going to show you these lovely shoes by Lovely Monsters. They work with SLINK feet (Mid Height) and are absolutely adorable. I love how the creator adorned these heels.

I also decided to wear one of the outfits by Lovely Monsters called “Dark Flight” I loved the Dark Blue Accents on the dress. I coordinated the look with bat garters by Squeek!. I will admit I had a pretty rough time working with the resize hud. I am not a huge fan of resize huds in general but it took some tweaking and I finally got the item resized to a pretty close size of my legs. I did love the concept of the garters, I swear put batwings on something and I will swoon all over them.

Last but not least I want to showcase this lovely manicure by ~By Snow~. I have been meaning to drop by her mainstore but I always get sidetracked with my 10 million projects. I’ve seen the items she has created for other events and they are spectacular. I hope this picture does justice to her lovely manicure. I chose Dark Blue nails to match my outfit.

Dead Dollz shows at fashion week

Penumbra Spring/Summer Fashion Week runs from May 25th to May 31st. Penumbra has organized a week of fashion shows and Dead Dollz creations are scheduled to walk the catwalk on Thursday, May 29th at 3PM SLT. Dead Dollz will showcase 8 outfits – 4 older pieces and 4 newer pieces. The 4 newer pieces are:

#1 Fragrance is a beautiful gown which is inspired by John Galliano. The top part is fitted like a corset and the skirt billows out to a puffy end and also has a bit of a train in back. I love how the colour starts at dark purple at the top and by the bottom of the dress is light purple.

It’s Worth is a stunning black and white structured gown inspired by Charles Frederick Worth. It reminds me of a sleek and simple architecture piece.

1985 is a pretty dress inspired by Roberto Capucci. The skirt is stiff and hangs lower in the front than the back so a pair of pretty mesh panties in the same pattern as the dress comes with it. 1985 reminds me of a dress a ballerina wears and I love the colour and pattern. I especially love the panties. 😉

Inertia is a quirky dress which is inspired by Hussein Chalayan. This lovely mini dress has a suede-like texture and looks quite normal from the front, but peak at the back and *pow* it’s fully open with jagged edges on the side. Pretty mesh panties come with the dress as well, if not you’d be mooning everyone you walk by. LOL 😉

Pinups with SYSY’s

Pinups is one of the themes for this round of My Attic. SySy Chapman, owner of SYSY’s, has designed a very pinup-looking outfit – a pencil skirt and corset-like top. This outfit reminds me of 50’s pinup girls and I love the look. Pencil skirts is one of the sexiest looks a woman can wear. The Dorothy outfit comes in 6 colours and each includes 2 high-waisted pencil skirts, one with a black belt and one with a colour belt, and fitted polkadot top. She’s also designed matching pumps in 6 colours made for SLink high feet. Both the outfits and shoes are only 95L each at My Attic and once it ends, will be at regular pricing when put in the main store.

Sugar Skulls from Sax Shepherd

I love sugar skulls and day of the dead and for this year’s World Goth Fair, Sax Shepherd designed a beautiful pair of Calavera Sugar Skull boots. These boots come in 7 leather colours to choose from, each with a hud to change the lace, eyelets and piping colours. You can also change the sugar skull image from greyscale to colour. I HAD to have a pair of these amazing boots.

For the gachas Sax designed a gorgeous choker and earring set called Coffin Jewelry. There are several metals and several designs in the gachas except for the Ankh, Pentacle and Skull versions in Gunmetal. These 3 are for sale in the booth with 50% of the proceeds going to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation charity.

Both the jewelry and boots are 100% original mesh designed.

World Goth Fair enters second week

World Goth Fair is into its second week and runs to June 1st. The event chose the Sophie Lancaster Foundation as their charity for this year.

Lolapop has a couple of hot dresses in their booth and you don’t have to be a goth to wear them. My favourite is the Dahlia Dress. It has a halter style top and falls below the knees with a ruffle edge and slit up one side to show of your sexy thigh. A hud comes with this dress and there are 5 textures/colours to switch between. This mesh dress comes in the standard sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

The Memories Dress is a very short mini with some great colour combinations and spikey shoulder pads. This is the perfect dress to go clubbing and dancing in. A hud comes with it and you have 5 hot colour changes. I love this dress and feel very sexy wearing it. The dress comes in the standard mesh sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

Kuro at Theme Park

For this round of Theme Park, Kuro has released 3 striped rugs – in blue, pink and yellow, and 2 stools piled with blankets and pillows in yellow and pink. The 2 stools come with 10 poses (3 are below), some for men and women. Both items are well made and I like them very much but I particularly love the rugs’ pattern and that you can resize them. I love large rugs. ;)</p.

Sailor Jupiter meets The Labyrinth

Sailor Jupiter finds herself trapped inside these crystal balls thus becoming a play thing for the Goblin King. Will she be able to free herself or be resigned to forever being tormented by the evil king?.

Serafilm is a bi-monthly event and runs until May 31st; this month’s film is “The Labyrinth”. Hopscotch’s release for this event is a pose pack entitled “How You Turn My World”. The 5-pose pack is inspired by the Goblin King’s crystal balls. These balls that come with the poses are big enough for an avatar to fit in. Below are photos of 3 of the poses from the pack.

Even a princess needs alone time

I started my day sneaking off to the bakery for some yummy goodies in an out-of-the-way place. Putting my hair in pigtails and wearing a cute sundress I’d hope no one recognized me. My adorable hair is called Dandelions by Milk at this month’s round of Fit for a Princess. The mesh hair comes in 9 colour packs, each pack controlled by a hud. I love the colour combinations in the colour packs and the vibrancy of the hair.

I then found myself outside a photobooth and just had to take some pics. Photobooths are so much fun and this one I found at Nylon Outfitters over at Tableau.

The poses I used in my travels to the bakery were by Imeka. This 6-pose pack is called Lucy and currently found at kustom9.

World Goth Faire: Post #1

World Goth Faire has officially begun and there are so many awesome creators who have come together for one cause, Sophie Lancaster. As with previous years, The World Goth Faire will donate all proceeds to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. If you are not aware of this foundation click here for more information.

Today I am going to showcase you a variety of items that are available at World Goth Faire this year. I started off with this lovely outfit from Sn@tch, and if you know Ivey Deschanel she always includes a great variety of colors in her outfit packs. I loved how the skirt hugged my avatars curves and gave me a very sexy silhouette.

To compliment the outfit I put on the lovely tights by Cannibelle, they gave that gothic mistress allure that I loved. I knew I wanted to pair off the outfit with items from Bliensen + Maitai.

I wore the Morticia Heels by Bliensen + Maitai; these particular heels featured a lace edging on the upper portion of the heels. These heels are SLINK compatible and available in a wide variety of colors.

I also accessorized my look with the beautiful Pipistrello Bag. The bag is adorned with lovely bat accents and also has a beautiful lace motif. I loved how beauty and elegance of the bag. The bag is also available in a variety of colors. This bag also coordinates with the Pipistrello Jewelry items that are also available at Bliensen + Maitai.

But my look needed some finishing touches, I remembered that Keishii Roo had released a beautiful line of Gothic Skins and a lovely necklace that would finish off my look. The skin comes with phat azz/cutie azz appliers, slink appliers, and tango appliers. I am wearing the 50% donation to Charity Version of the skins which is titled “Bat Wings”. I loved the dark allure of the makeup and the necklace just added the right touch of color to my look. I am also wearing wonderful eyes by *Atomic Faery* that comes with a HUD to texture change to a variety of colors, as you can see I was totally channeling my inner Bowie.
