Not your Princess!

Hello! I’m Lola and I’m not like the other princesses in the kingdom. I don’t like running about in fancy dresses and I don’t like being the typical princess. You can find me in the underbelly of the kingdom causing riots and fights with the local kinsfolk. This time I didn’t bother to take off my tiara when I ran amok in the kingdom. There were rumors about a princess who was different than the others and lo and behold that princess was me.

Well since I was a princess of course I had my own escorts. I had an affinity with my stripper pole and I would take it everywhere with me. I would just plop it in the front where everybody can see me and I would dance seductively. Despite many requests for me to take off my clothes I never did. I was a tease and if any person dared to touch me they would meet the wrath of my guards. My guards adored me, I treated them with far more respect than my sisters. After all, they were pretty much the closest to friends I would ever have that were not of royal blood.

As the kinsfolk of the kingdom soon realized they were in the presence of royalty, their behaviour changed. The men who were attempting to fondle me were now mortified and bowing in my presence. I looked at the crowd and realized the jig was up. They all knew who I was and they averted their gaze from me. I spoke to them and asked them to look at me as I spoke to them. I apologized for my ill mannered behaviour but there are times I just need to get out of the castle and be amongst the kinfolk to know what are the important views and issues that are ailing the kingdom. I also told them that this time I did not want to hide who I was when I was among them, and this is why I had kept my crown on. Although my choice of apparel was less than royal I wanted them to notice that I was wearing the clothing they worked so hard creating that my sisters declined as representations of work from our kingdom. As I was the eldest I get the final say in all matters regarding the kingdom and I wanted to assure my kinsfolk I will overrule my sisters opinion.

I loved the way my hair was styled by ploom and it is available at the Fantasy Collective until July 20th. There are several colors to choose from or you can choose the fatpack version which is by far a great value. The top is by Sakide and features a HUD that allows you to change the texture of the spikes on the back of the jacket to different metals or you can hide the spikes as I did in this post. You can also change the texture of the tank top to coordinate with your outfit., S

Summer’s OMGacha is here!

The summer version of Oh My Gacha begins tomorrow, July 1st and runs throughout the month. A lot of great designers take part in OMG, one being Chandni Khondji of Hopscotch. Chandi’s gacha items are glasses, regular and funny ones. There are 7 commons and 3 rare glasses. The 3 rare glasses are closed eyes, bar glasses (both come with colour changing huds) and those glasses with spring eyes). These are really fun glasses to collect.

NatiWilliams of Imeka has re-opened her store that was closed due to move and redecorating. It’s beautiful with so many places to hang out and take photos. You need to drop by and explore! (landmark below)

Bare backs are the sexiest…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it now, bare backs are one of the sexiest parts for a woman to show and SySy Chapman of SYSY’s has made a gorgeous disco-inspired top doing just that. The Studio 73 top is a sexy, silky top that loops around the neck and covers the breasts. It’s held in place with a belt and comes in 6 shimmery colours.

To go with the tops are sexy disco platforms in the same 6 colours. The shoes are add-ons for SLink medium feet.

Summertime

See that adorable little face. I will do anything to keep him happy. Even if it means dragging myself to the beach house that I acquired recently since he wanted to have a fun summer this year. See what this little boy doesn’t know is that I hate the beach. I hate how the sand feels on my toes, I don’t like being out in the sun at all. So of course I have been hiding out in the beach house. But this little prince of mine had begged me to take him outside for a piggy back ride and really who can say no to that adorable face.

To my surprise this little boy built himself a tree house. I’m pretty sure he got the help of some of my friends. After all he is my little travieso. So he’s running around playing with his tree house and here I am sitting on the stairs staying away from the sand and the sun. I sometimes wonder where he gets all these random spurts of energy from and then I realize the boy knows where I hide his bribes (lol).

This picture showcases the beautiful Carmen hair by ploom. I love the soft long wavy hair that gently graces your body. I decided to wear brown hair this time around instead of my usual purple/black varieties. I love the texture and there are a few versions available in the folder for you to choose from like the rigged for boobs and rigged (regular) and lastly the unrigged version which is perfect for toddleedoos.

Ojos Asi

For some reason I always associate Arabian themes with Shakira’s song “Ojos Asi”. There is just something that draws me into the allure of the Arabic culture but with an association of Latina Heritage. Over the years the Arabic culture has flourished with many beautiful textiles and ceramics. The most famous items that are still sold to this day are Persian Rugs. Known for their beauty and elegance these rugs are a little bit costly but worth every penny.

So why I am going on and on about Arabic items. I have a point really 😛 Genre’s theme for this round is “Arabian”. I loved the setup of the event it made rezzing a little easier for me. I wanted to find something to go with my new AZE nose piercing and earring set and there were a variety of choices. I chose and outfit from Los Encantades because of the beauty of it in the ad and in a poster that was on display in the tent.

I also found myself buying a lovely new sitting room set that I had planned to decorate with tea but then I decided me dancing on the center table was far more entertaining. Alas, there is never a guy around to pose with me when I need one. But I can always depend on my little son to be there for me. He came out his room dressed as a little prince. Please do ignore his dirty face, I bribed him with chocolate so that he can sit still long enough for the photos.

May I serve you?

I needed a summer job so here I am a waitress at an ice cream stand. Please just apply the ice cream to my thighs as I can already feel my resistance to snacking waning. Anyway, my uniform and bowtie is from Cila. I love this uniform; it’s all one piece and there is one for men and women. It’s original, fitted mesh and that is the only size; I had no problem with it fitting. The detailing is wonderful, from the pleats in the shirt to the pocket in the apron.

The cute bowties are from a gacha machine, 50L a play. There are 10 commons and 2 rares; 5 darks and 5 lights and can be resized.

all for a girl…

He never once said he wanted a boy, once she was born. His daughter stole his heart and he could deny her nothing. He was the village blacksmith and she became adept at creating weaponry. Today she’s finished making shields for the coming raid.

Chandni Khondji of Hopscotch has designed some beautiful shields for The Fantasy Collective this round. There are 8 shields to choose from and you receive 2 shields of each design, one with a holding pose and one without. These shields are unrigged so you can resize them. Each shield is 150L or 1050L for a fatpack.

Senzafine released a wonderful leggings and tunic outfit a month or so back. I love the texture and the details are great. The fit is perfect, the mesh pants do not show through the mesh tunic without having to wear a larger size top. This is an overall top quality item, as with everything at Senzafine.

The Vikings are coming…

Vikings is the theme for this round of the Fantasy Collective and SySy Chapman of SYSY’s has created the Aesa dress which is perfect for those early day viking women. I’d say probably poor or even slaves wore this. Aesa comes in 3 colours (biscuit, black and red) with a belt and the standard mesh sizes. The texture on this mini is burlap like with a small slit up one side.

Luminary’s fantasy collective item is the pretty Hart Tree Necklace, which comes in gold or silver. It’s unrigged so you can resize it. Pure Poison is also taking part in the same event and has designed a pair of Viking Woman Sandals (you receive both brown and black). These leather sandals are made for SLink flat mesh feet and I think they’re perfect for the theme. My tattoo is called Odin from Little Pricks, found at the fantasy collective. It comes on 3 layers.

Another event taking place at this time is Totally Top Shelf and Keystone’s item in the event are the Grecian Slave Ropes bracelets and anklets. Even though they are Grecian, I can imagine them worn by slaves in the viking villages. You receive a left and right bracelet and anklet of the ropes and are wonderfully textured.

Scarlet Chandrayaan of Alouette has designed a cute swing for summer. This metal swing comes with 5 cute sit poses and a texture changing seat cover. You can pick it up at The Theme Park which is still in progress.

PeachieMuah of Fresh Face has been very busy with the release of another new skin in a week. Viola has one of the most adorable faces I’ve seen and comes in 4 skin tones. Each tone comes with and without cleavage and freckles and with smaller breasts as well. As with all their skins, the faces are bare so you can add your favourite makeups. Below I added some eyeliner, moles and lip gloss for a little older look.

Tentacles Oh My!

I spent a whole week putting this particular look together and that is pretty rare for me since normally I can put a look together in a few minutes. I absolutely love anything that has to do with octopi. I saw this skirt on another blogger’s flickr stream, and she always has the most beautiful outfits put together her name is Harleyquinn Constantine and this is her blog. I knew that the hair I had received from Koy would be perfect for this look. I believe its the perfect unisex hairstyle. And it comes in a variety of hair colors. But if you are like me you should totally fatpack it because then you will have all the colors.

I finally went to Collabor88 this month, and I noticed that The Secret Store had several different versions of the top that I wanted to grab. So I grabbed a corset version in red because I knew it would go perfectly with my skirt. As I was shopping in Collabor88 I received a group notice from N-Core stating that they had a new pair of shoes as a group gift. I ran and got my lovely new shoes.

I was smiling at myself because I had attained a pretty rocking rockabilly look unintentionally. As you can see I am wearing a hand tattoo which is by Moon Amore, the place where I also got my skirt, I loved the unique beauty of how the octopus was laid out on the hand. This particular hand tattoo comes in a pack of 3 tattoos called the “Waves Pack”. Now Moon Amore is a new store to me and from what I see its still in its beginning phases but it has a lot of potential. If you are into kawaii items it is the perfect place to go. I should mention that the skirt is texture changing via a hud so there are multiple textures available for you to wear. Not to mention the prices are pretty affordable. I also picked up a freckles tattoo layer that I can’t wait to try out soon.
