Are you afraid of spiders?

Juxtapose has a couple of great pose props out for the Halloween Fair that is currently running. The Worst nightmare pose prop is a scary scene with webs and big ugly spiders. There are even a couple of spiders you can attach to yourself and a popup menu for a selection of 8 poses.

Also from the Halloween Fair is this great hair from Runaway called Shelley. And out at the katat0nik main store is a cute halloween version of the Playgirl Dress. It comes in green, black or red with either a skull or toy belt.

Juxtapose’s other prop is this wonderful ghost. Just rez it and click on it to sit and a menu pops up with 6 poses. It’s liked being hugged by ghostly arms. LOL 😉

This round’s theme at The Fantasy Collective is the Renaissance. Senzafine, 8f8 and Pekka have all created beautiful items for this event.

Senzafine’s stunning Caterina gown comes in 8 gorgeous colour combinations. The detailing and texturing is impeccable. I especially love the sleeve design.

8f8’s Renaissance horns are exquisite, from the delicate scroll work to the hanging crosses and wrapped ribbon. There are 3 different types of horns but I only allowed myself the stone and the glass. 😉

I love Pekka’s pretty Triquetra choker. It comes with a hud and has 10 colour choices for the ribbon. There are 4 metal colours to choose from and you can also purchase matching earrings and ring.

New at the Fantasy Collective

The Fantasy Collective started a few days ago and I believe they are celebrating their birthday as well. It seems a lot of events have anniversaries this month. Most of my look is from the event.

My cute strapless leather dress is from SYSY’s. It comes in 3 colours (brown, cream and black) in the standard mesh sizes. These great cloth sandals are from The Forge and come in either brown or black. They are compatible with SLink flat feet and you receive both male and female size sandals with each purchase. These really nice bracers are from Lost Junction. On touch you can change the colours of both the leather and the cords. And my cute hairstyle comes from Damselfly. I love the braid on top with the small bun.

Vintage never dies…

I love wearing vintage clothing from many different eras. Today we bring you back to the 1950’s, brought to you by these wonderful slingback shoes  by Eclectica.

You can find Eclectica Holly Slingback shoes at L’Accessoires. There are 6 textures to choose from in black and white. Each pair have gold and silver metal options and the shoes are tintable. In edit mode you can change the whole colour, or click the ‘select face’ box and just colour certain parts of the shoes. This gives you unlimited choices really for your shoes. Each pair is 190L each or 375L for the fatpack. The shoes are compatible with SLink medium feet.

Goth1c0 has this pretty Retro 50’s Halter dress at the Vintage & Cool Fair.  It comes in several colours but I had to choose the plaid as many of you know.

I love this strapless hot pink dress by Mon Cheri at the Vintage Fair. The dress comes in several colours and has 3 different colour underskirts that comes with it.

I do love all 3 of my outfits from the Vintage & Cool Fair, but my favourite is this one by The Little Bat. The pencil skirt and sweater is a classic ’50s look and we all know why I love it. There are several colours to choose from here as well.

curiosities…

I love shopping in curio shops. They are filled with fascinating items you usually don’t fine anywhere else.

NatiWilliams of Imeka has another new cute pose set out for kustom9. The pose set is called Nyla which includes 8 static poses. All the poses in this post come from this pose pack.

Another item from this round of kustom9 is this pretty striped sweater from Bueno.  I love the colours and it’s the perfect length. My pants are from quirky Mikunch, one of my favourite shops. My shoes are from Lolapop in this round of L’amitie Fall Market. I’m a sucker for chunky platform shoes and love these. There are several colours to choose from with a subtle pattern and tiny gold leaf decoration.

TAG has started which is where you’ll find this cute hair style from Spellbound. Each colour pack comes with a large colour-changing bow. My cool necklace comes from Nylon Outfitter’s TAG gacha. Each one comes as a necklace and a wall portrait. If you happen to get the Nylon Outfitter Mystery Coupon, then you receive this very cool eyeball ring when you turn it in. Lastly, my pretty skin comes from Glam Affair as their anniversary gift at TSS.

I just want to say I loved TAG, going to all the stores were fun and I had a great look around while I was there and found some great stuff. And of course no lag was wonderful too. 😉

the life of a princess…

I spend most of my days wandering around the kingdom, visiting with the locals and animals. It doesn’t matter if I am visiting with royalty or commoners, I always strive to look my best.

Today I chose this beautiful gown from Evie’s Closet at Mystic Realms fair. Owner, Evangeline Miles designs some of the best fantasy gowns in SL. The Arianwen gown comes with separate sleeves so you can choose not to wear them if you’d like. The gown comes in several colours and also sold separately, she’s created matching head wreaths with chokers (not wearing choker).

Another Mystic Realms participant is Eclectica. They have 2 gorgeous jewelry exclusives available, the Enchantment set and Sylvan set. Enchantment comes in either the River Pebbles set (smooth stones) or the Mountain Rock set (rough rocks). Each set consists of earrings, a necklace and rings. Each set can be resized and retextured by touch. There are 9 stone colours and 3 metal colours.

The Sylvan set (made of leaves) consists of a collar, a head piece and rings. This beautiful set comes in 6 colours and can be resized. All Eclectica jewelry is 100% original mesh.

autumn walks…

Autumn is my favourite season. I love the crispness of the air and all the gorgeous colours. I love to see the various sims decorated for the season. I have 2 looks of the day today centering around this gorgeous plaid skirt.

I wore my new favourite skirt for a luncheon date. I bet if I touched it I’d feel a heavy soft wool. The warm turtle neck is the perfect compliment to the skirt. Both are from Shai and come in many colours. My boots are new from CLAVv. out now at Genre. I love the fall colour and the height is perfect. My little bag is a gift from Mikunch at TSS to celebrate its anniversary and my beautiful hair is new from Truth found at the Mystic Realms fair.

Later that evening, I wrapped myself in this great tweed coat and went for a walk at Neva Sky village. This wrap coat is from ::K:: out now at FameShed. It comes in several colours.

In just a couple of days, Candy Fair will be closing its doors this year. If you have not been to Candy Fair yet, now is the time to check out both sims. There are a ton of great stores offering great merchandise.

I picked up a great outfit by The Sugar Garden and also the lovely necklace. I was lucky to have the matching shoes already in my inventory so I didn’t have to purchase them. I walked next door and found the beautiful hair by Ploom. I knew that I needed the hair in all the colors.

I walked a few doors over and snagged the lovely skin by Kooqla and my look had finally come together. All I needed was a great manicure to top off my look. I knew that my SL Mom – Autumn Amaranth made a great set that would go well with this dress so I explored the 2 sims and found her store “The Wicked Peach”.

While walking around I found what I call a Gothic inspired candy shop display items and pretty much bought all I could. In the picture below you will see items from a new to me brand called “Lucky Charlotte Camille” and I am truly loving what I see. The Dessert Display Table was also available in a couple other color options but the “black” color struck my fancy. Then the candy jars were all so beautifully done and textured, but what I loved most were the “black” candy jars because they had “eyeballs” in the jars and it was beautifully macabre.

Happy anniversary…

The Season’s Story is celebrating their one year anniversary this round and some of the participating stores have left a gift for the shoppers. That’s very nice of them and we all thank them. 🙂

Imeka has a cute 8–pose set called Lulu and are used for all photos in my post today. The adorable flower clutch is her gift for TSS and includes a hold pose.

I love this off-shoulder dress by B.C.C. It comes in several shades and for 100L extra, you can purchase a hud of texture changes for the corset. It’s very well done and I would love to see a blouse made of the top part, in an ivory colour. It would be so perfect for steampunk looks. 😉

My beautiful face is courtesy of Atomic’s new TSS skin called Autumn. It comes with 5 eyebrow options, 2 lip tatoo layers and loud mouth and nyam nyam appliers. Ivy designs some of the best skins around and I always look good in them. I’ve been wearing Atomic skins for the past 5-6 years.

My last TSS item I’m wearing is from Elua. The Wilma hair comes with 2 versions – a messy bun and a somewhat neat bun. I love the softness of Elua’s hair textures.

My necklace and boots are from this round of Collab88. The Wendy boots are from Fri.day and come in several colours. The socks change texture and can also be removed. Maxi Gossamer’s pretty Sister Catrina Mertos necklace comes in gold and silver (both included). On touch you can change the colour of the beads and the stone on the cameo piece.

The Mystic Realms event is full of fantastic designers that I feel like a kid in a candy store; I don’t know where to look first because I want everything.

Senzafine has two exclusives; the first are these great leggings. I’d imagine they are made from an animal hide with lacings. These mesh leggings come in the standard sizes in 6 colours. The second exclusive is the beautiful Elaisse gown. I love the pattern and detailing on the dress, and the colours used. There are 8 colours to choose from.

Another exclusive from Lassitude & Ennui are these wonderful Captain’s Boots. The boots are leather with a suede upper, detailed in gold trim. They come in 6 colours and include rigged fitmesh and unrigged mesh versions.

Truth Hawks has made some beautiful hair for this event, including my favourite Neria. I would call this hair a “bombshell” type of hair. I find it very sexy looking. It comes with ram horns trimmed in silver. The hud not only changes hair colours but also horn colours.

One of Hopscotch’s fair exclusives are the Nylee leather headbands. I love these, simple as that! They come in black, brown or white leather with beads and an animal tooth. Each colour is 125L or the fatpack for 250L.
