Filthy meets SYSY’s

The first week of the skin fair is over and it’s been quite a busy place. Filthy’s exclusive for the fair is Chloe, a very cute skin which comes in 6 skin tones. With each tone you receive 1 skin with loads of layers which include lipsticks, cleavage, eyeshadows, freckles, moles and eyeliners; as well, you receive a shape. That’s a ton of stuff to mix and match different looks, depending on your mood.

Below, from left to right, I am wearing (L) the Ivory skin tone, (M) the Beach skin tone with green eyeshadow, rosey red lipstick and light freckles with mole layers, and (R) the Tan skin tone with blue eyeshadow, nude lipstick and medium freckles layers.

And in this photo I am wearing Snow skin tone with nude 2 lipstick and freckles with eyeliner layers.

Yesterday a new round of My Attic started and Sysy Chapman designed a beautiful strapless mini dress and very cute wedgie sandals for the event. The ChaCha Dress comes in 5 colours and with the right accessories is perfect for a hot date, but also with a short jacket, pumps and simple jewelry can be worn to the office (just don’t take off the jacket 😉 ). The Bow Wedges come in the same 5 colours as the dress and are add-ons for the medium SLink feet. These wedges bring me back to my teen years. My teens were in the 70’s and I practically lived in wedgie shoes.

Cute Tokyo Girl skins at Skin Fair

Tokyo Girl has 3 cute skins out for Skin Fair. Each skin comes in 5 skin tones and you receive 10 skins for each tone. For Tene you receive a freckle and no freckle of each tone; for Inari you receive a makeup and pure for each tone; and for Hestia you receive an eyeliner and no eyeliner of each skin tone. Also included in with the skins is a shape.

From left to right, I am wearing Tene in the pale tone with freckles; Inari in the natural tone with makeup; and Hestia in the fair tone with eyeliner.

You can also find appliers for Lolas and Phat Azz but I do wish there was SLink appliers. With that said, I’d still wear the skins because I look so adorably cute in them. 🙂 If you’re looking for a skin to make you look younger, try Tokyo Girl.

A very important tea date

I had a very important tea date yesterday and I wanted to look my best. I also had to make sure I had something to put the tea cups on and somewhere to sit. At this round of Theme Park, Kuro came out with some spring crates and spring tea cups. There are 4 tea cups, 2 with flowers and 2 without, and 3 spring crates. After placing them I poured the tea and awaited my guest. (I added a pose in one crate for me to sit on.)

I decided to wear the new Taylor skin from Elysium, which is currently at the Skin Fair. Taylor is a very pretty skin that comes in 8 skin tones. There are 16 skins for each skin tone; some with and without cleavage, no brows and various brow colours and some with and without freckles. As you know, I love freckles and these freckles are some of the best I’ve seen. I also love that the freckles are not only on the face but also on the body. Each skin tone also has a selection of lip colours. You can pick up SLink, Lolas and Phat Azz appliers of each tone as well.

I also thought to try some fancy eye makeup and found a new-to-me shop at the skin fair called Madrid Solo. The Mix & Match set comes with colourful dotted eyemakeup, some lipsticks and even moles/blush. My favourites are The Nudes lipsticks. Nude lipsticks are the hot look this spring and going right into fall (saw this on a fashion news report last night). Anyone can wear nude lipsticks and these ones are very nice.

Merfolk at Genre

This round Genre’s theme is “merfolk” and Hopscotch has created 2 sets of 5 poses, Mer Warrior Tail and Mer Warrior Legs. The 2 sets of poses are basically the same with a bit of difference in the legs part, one for normal legs and one for a mer tail. Both sets come with a trident. Below I took 4 photos, 2 poses from each set.

Sax Shepherd Designs and Blacklace at Theme Park

At this round of Theme Park, Sax Shepherd Designs’ (SSD) and Blackace’s items go very well together. SSD released the beautiful Petals Boudoir Set, which is a waist cincher with matching mules. The ones in the photos are the bright florals pack and they come with a hud that changes colours and sizes. You can also just change the colour of the bow or the piping, or the whole thing. There are 6 different colours in the hud; lots of mixing and matching to play with. I’m in love with these mules, they are stunning. You will need SLink’s medium mesh feet to wear them.

Blacklace has released Apassionata lingerie set. It comes in 4 colours and of course you all know I had to get my favourite colour. SSD’s mules go so well with this lingerie set. Apassionata is a system bra and panties with a matching mesh corset and some mesh bows. It’s very pretty and very sexy looking.

Lucie and Juice together

Joli, another new-to-me skin designer, released their Lucie skin for the Skin Fair. This beautiful skin comes in 8 skin tones; 4 eyebrow colours in each tone with a cleavage/no cleavage skin. That’s 8 skins in each tone! Also included is a lot of lip gloss layers, a few freckles and even a teeth layer. You can also pick up the following appliers: SLink, Lolas, Cute/Phat Azz, Loud Mouth and a baby bump. I love the shadings of Lucie and her face is very pretty.

A new round of kustom9 started 2 days ago and Imeka released a very nice set of 8 poses called Juice. Once again Nati has created some of the most blogger friendly poses I’ve come across. I really love using her poses. You can pick them up at kustom9 for 80L; once it ends they go back to regular price at the Imeka main store.

Somnia and Coquet at The Theme Park

A new round of the Theme Park opened yesterday and Somnia and Coquet are taking us into spring.

Somnia has released the very pretty Cupios top. This pretty mesh top comes in several colour combinations (3 of which I wear below) of flowers and a ribbon. It has spaghetti straps and pairs perfectly with jeans, shorts, etc. Not only perfect for spring but I can see wearing it right into summer.

Coquet designed a summery dress that brought me back to my teen years. I wore this style of dress all the time in summer when I was younger, both long and short. This dress comes in 3 colours/designs and has a very flattering cut. I love wearing this maxi, it’s so comfortable and pretty.

Clef de Peau meets Dead Dollz

New-to-me Clef de Peau is participating in this year’s skin fair with the beautiful Jemma skin. Jemma comes in 5 skin tones – in both bare and in 6 different makeups. There are 3 cleavage options, 4 brow colours, several lipsticks, freckles, blush and eyeliners; enough for you to mix and match to create your own looks. There are also appliers for SLink, Cute Azz and Lolas. I love how Jemma looks on me and I’m sure I’ll be wearing it a lot.

Dead Dollz is taking part in the Saviad Spring Fashion Fair, which starts today and ends March 31st. The fair has over 50 designer booths as well as a special market for special edition items from the designers and a gacha area.

Kiddo Oh, owner of Dead Dollz, has designed 2 stunning gowns, my favourite being Sakura. Sakura is a pale pink form fitting sleeveless gown with a single ruffle running down several panels on the gown and has a train in the back. Once I put the gown on I didn’t want to remove it. LOL

Kiddo has created a very cool Hatrella for her gacha. It’s a gorgeous hat attached to an umbrella pole. There are several commons with black and white being the rares. In the photo below the pale pink matches the Sakura gown.

Hasu is a sleveless gown of pale blue with a white design on the bodice and a small bow. I felt very pretty in this gown.

The Skin Fair is open!

The skin fair has been open about 12 hours now and it’s full of people running from booth to booth trying on beautiful skins and makeups. With that in mind, I’d like to show you Iren’s skins and some eye makeup and eyebrows from Soiree.

Irene has released 3 pretty skins for the fair – Barbara, Molly and Tessa. All 3 skins come in the same 7 skin tones and you get 2 skins in each tone; one with and one without eyebrows. You’ll also receive a couple of eyeliners and mesh hands with a hud for nail colours. Dont’ worry, you can also pick up the SLink feet and hand appliers, as well as appliers for lolas and cute/phat azz. I don’t know which is my favourite; I look so pretty in all three skins. 😉

Soiree is a new-to-me shop and I am in love with their eyebrows. These are some of the most natural looking eyebrows I’ve seen around and Kaya are my new favourites. All the brows come in dark/medium/light for the red/brown/blond brows and there’s a black brow. You can also get the Kaya brows in pastels.

The eye makeup is very pretty. I don’t wear a lot of eye makeup besides eyeliner because I’ve found it difficult to find half-decent ones but I am very impressed with Soiree. You receive 5 or 6 different colours of each and some come with and without eyeliner. My favourites though have got to be the Cold Cold Hearts Eyeshadows; these are just gorgeous.

Skin Fair 2014 opens tomorrow

The Skin Fair opens at 12:01 am SL time on March 14th. I’m sure it’ll be packed as soon as it opens. 😉

Elisabeth Grey-King, owner of [okkbye], has released Marina, a very cute skin. Marina comes in 8 different skin tones (I’m wearing 3 different tones in the photos below). Each skin tone comes in a version 1 and 2, with 3 colour brows and no brows of each. Of course there are SLink, Lola and Phat/Cute Azz appliers in all the tones as well as a cosmetics pack, Marina’s Lip pack and Rough Night eyebag pack for purchase.

On the right I am wearing the Sunlit tone and nothing else. It’s the bare skin; see how cute the face is? On the right I’m in the Spice tone and added black lipstick, hallow from the Rough Nights eyebag pack and soft freckles.

And here I added lots of ginger freckles, cheek contour, a peach lipstick and I’m in the Afterglow skin tone.
