Hot summer looks from Katat0nik and Imeka

Now that we’re into beach weather, over at Collab88, Katat0nik and Imeka give us some great summertime wardrobe items, topped off with ice cream. 😉

Katat0nik’s summer hoodie is a perfect beach coverup. The garment hangs off the shoulders and upper arms and is open in front. Being fitmesh, it will fit most shapes using SLink Physique and Maitreya’s Lara mesh bodies plus the default SL body. It is available in 7 colours and you receive 2 of each colour, one as a solid and one with a pretty hibiscus pattern.

Imeka has several items out at C88. Her yummy ice cream cones are available in 5 flavours and each comes with a hud to change the cone paper textures. Each ice cream is only 88L. You’ll want the cute Watermelon umbrella to protect your skin from the harsh sun. You receive 2 umbrellas, one pink and one red. As with the umbrellas, the watermelon earrings come in pink and red in one pack and includes a hud to change metals.

Babydolls…

Katat0nik Pidgeon designed the prettiest babydoll dresses for participation in this round of the Seraphim Social. They also can be used as nightgowns, in my opinion. The fitted mesh babydolls are designed for the SLink Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies, are original mesh and hand-drawn textures. They come in 7 colours and each colour also includes a panty applier along with the dress.

Over at Shiny Shabby (a new event), Kean Kelly of [keke], has a gacha machine full of her really pretty Pea Princess’ Collection, which consists of a step ladder, bed, DIY book stable, floor pillows and trunk drawer.

It’s December and that means it’s Arcade time. Katat0nik’s gacha goodies are the adorable Toy Boots. You can wear these colourful boots with and without SLink mid feet. There are 11 common boots and 1 rare pair (the rainbow). You will find some of the boot patterns in other clothing designed by owner Katat0nik Pidgeon, which is awesome! This round of the Arcade runs until the end of December, so plenty of time to get down there and grab several pairs of boots.

The Beauty of Roses

Roses have been revered throughout time as a symbol of love and mystery. As I was traipsing through Fantasy Faire 2014, I noticed this beautiful maiden. She invited me into her humble abode and began to dress me as royalty. I was so ecstatic because I was only a humble servant who was never treated to such luxuries.

As the day continued, she had me repeat these sayings over and over. I was unsure what she was doing but I eventually caught on. She had realized that there was something different with me, I had untapped powers that I had never knew of. My powers were drawn from nature so she began to teach me a few spells.

Here I am wearing items from stores I have never heard of : .aisling. and Sweet Lies. The lovely crown was prepared by .aisling. and the beautiful dress was prepared by Sweet Lies. Using the medallion necklace from [AZE] Jewelry designs as my talisman, I was able to control my power and I surrounded myself with rose petals from nearby rose bushes.

I was amazed at what I had done, and lo and behold the people of the court began bowing to me. The maiden who had pampered me had announced that I was the saviour that was foretold in legends past. I was a little taken back by the news but I knew better than to question the legends in front of the people of the court.

I had also curtsied back to the people of the court as a sign of respect and also to accept their trust. Once the court was cleared, I had begun to interrogate the maiden. She showed me the books and in the books there was a drawing of a woman that looked just like me. I was mesmerized and frightened at the same time.

It had turned out that I was not a person born of the era, but I was a immortal being who had forgotten my memory and in the library there were several memoirs to help me regain my memory and also to relearn the spells I had once taken for granted.

Pose Fair 2014 opens today!

At 12 pm SL time the Pose Fair opens and it’s filled with a lot of new great poses for everybody. Over 100 stores is participating and Hopscotch is one of those. Owner Chandni Khondji has been very busy this year and has a lot of new poses for the fair.

There are 3 pose packs of 5 poses each. These are very nice poses and I can see using them in my blogging in particular. The names are Brooklyn (1), Peyton (2) and Daytona (3).

With the Wind is a set of five poses that includes fabric that looks like it’s floating in the wind. The cloth comes for both hands and in sheer and solid. As you can see I’m getting in some practice time for the next olympics. 😉

Last, is the SLavatars (inspired by The Sims), a set of 4 poses with wearable bubbles. There is fire, burglar, love and sleep.

Oh hello there! So I figured I’d ask before I rabble beyond control on the following picture collages? Do you think I should quit with the collages and do separate posts for each look (blog post) or continue with this style so that I don’t inundate you with my pictures galore.

Just in case you are wondering, I am often called “Pocket Lola” by friends due to my size in SL. I love to dress in different styles but often find myself caught between gothic and kawaii. In this post I will like to showcase to you some of the looks I put together, I know its a long post put I promise not to ramble.

Thanks to stores like .tsg., Blah!, and more I see myself gravitating towards Kawaii Style with a bit Ero Style thrown in. I like pastel colors a lot and lately you can actually see me wearing pink in world which is a rarity. What I love about this look is how the perfect accessories can complete the outfit.

The Sexy Rocker

To me this is how I would like to see myself on stage, a mix between Shakira and Santana from Glee. They both have such amazing looks and are beautiful in their own rights. I’m not a huge fan of animal prints but this outfit I put together seemed to meld well together. Goth1c0 has been a longtime favorite store of mine and I am so happy to see they are creating so many items lately.

The Gothic Beauty

This look basically revolved around the leggings I picked up at the Rock Attitude Fashion Fair by Malfean Visions. I swear I collect just about everything Lokii creates when I actually do wander outside my tiny box. I love how she is able to cover all fashion styles and still add a gothic edge to each item.

Senzafine and tea.s at The Theme Park

There are only a few more days of this round of The Theme Park and Senzafine and tea.s have finally been able to get their items out. So check them out and get down to pick them up before they are gone.

Senzafine released a cute mini-skirt with a really nice texture to it. I love the colours used and fits really well. The skirt comes in the standard mesh sizes and comes in 10 colours.

tea.s released a nice metal collar that says rock & roll on it. I love the collar and this little mesh item comes in 5 metallic colours.

Hopscotch tells fairy tales!

Hopscotch is taking part in the Surreal Complex and went with the fairy tale theme, with her two poses, Catch Me a Star and Under the Sea.

The Catch Me a Star pose is based on the Grimm’s Sterntaler fairy tale. It is a pose with a wearable prop of stars, and you can choose between gold or silver stars.

Under the Sea is an aquarium pose prop and is based on the photography of Julie de Waroquier. Quoting Hopscotch owner Chandi Khondji: “After a while in the world of the two legged, she wanted to go back to the sea. But she and her prince had moved and there was no water around. Only the little bit of undersea world in the aquarium. Maybe this was the way home…”

Snugglywarm from Eyelure

Eyelure has released a new snuggly sweater dress with a snowflake design in navy blue and light grey. It is off the shoulders and has wide sleeves and a belt. I love the look of this dress and I think I look really cute wearing it. 😉 It’s mesh so comes in all the standard mesh sizes.

[Atooly] and Vanity Poses @ Candy Fair 2013

Hey there my fellow confectionary lovers! Two of my fave stores graced me with the honor of blogging their items for Candy Fair. I’m not a official blogger, but sift through all the awesome posts on this blog and you will see that my sissy poo Willow is an official blogger and she is a machine!

So up first I want to show you the most adorable accessories by [Atooly]. She has some really awesome Candy Heart Necklaces as well as Gumdrop Crowns. I am just featuring one version of each item so you must go to the Candy Fair and pick up the other colors.

Next are the mesh pose props by Vanity Poses. They are perfect for adding to your own poses, I used poses by Vanity Poses for the props because they fit well together. Just so you know they props are texture change and come with versions to be held in either hand.
