A Sexy Babydoll Dress from Katat0nik

With a spring theme for this round of Collabor88, Katat0nik Pidgeon designed a sexy little babydoll dress. The fitmesh dress is made for SLink’s Physique mesh body but will fit Maitreya’s Lara mesh body as well. Always demo before buying; I always do. The pretty dress is available in 10 colours, from darks to pastels.

Spring has come to Second Life at least…

The Vanity Fair event is currently underway and ends March 6th. Juxtapose is participating with 2 pose packs and a nail polish pack for SLink finger and toe nails. The “You’re So Vain” pose pack contains 5 cute poses, two of which are in the photo below.

The second pose pack, “Wingsofa”, includes a dove for each of the 5 poses. One of the poses I used in the photo below.

Over at Fit for a Princess, Distorted Dreams has a very pretty gown available in 3 colours. The Abby dress comes in red, blue and black and is 100% original mesh.

Caelan Hancroft of Cae has designed a beautiful jewelry set called Entwined. The contemporary set includes a necklace, earrings and an headband that comes with a hud to change the jewel colours and the metal colours. Each item can be purchased separately or you can buy the whole set at Fit for a Princess.

Fresh Face is participating in the Wicked Wonderland Fair and Ivy is the exclusive skin for the event. Ivy comes in 4 skin tones with 3 breast sizes in each tone. Below on the left is the skin in the natural tones. As you can see the skin is clean with a sprinkling of freckles across the nose and cheeks. On the right is the snow tone and I added an eyeliner and lipglosss for an evening look. What a beautiful face! One thing, Ivy isn’t part of the “Doll” collection so the version 1 appliers work with this skin.

Breno released a very nice set of mounted Elk Horns at the Theme Park. Upon touch the chains and cuffs will show or hide. I do wish that I could turn the shadows off but otherwise these are nice horns. 😉

DIGS’ Sheyda Rug comes in 6 beautiful colour schemes, with pillows and a blanket. Touching the blanket will let you change the colours. It comes in PG and Adult versions and both are full of single and couple poses.

“Medieval princess” is the theme for this round of Fit for a Princess, and Les Femmes à Barbe released a wonderful dress in that theme. The Aurore dress comes in 4 colours and each comes with a crown. I especially love the detailing and the shape of the sleeves.

Princesses are special…

This round’s theme at Fit for a Princess is the “medieval princess” and the participating designers have created some wonderful items.

My pretty gowns are from Distorted Dreams and come in 6 colours. I especially love the sleeves on this dress and they are a separate attachment so you don’t have to wear them if you don’t want to. Both the dress and the sleeves come in 5 standard mesh sizes.

Cae’s exclusive is the beautiful Isabelle Collection which consists of a necklace, earrings and a tiara. A hud comes with the set and both the metal and jewel colours can be changed. I love the simple scrollwork of the pieces and is a perfect fit for the medieval theme.

here comes the bride…

Dead Dollz has opened a separate boutique for bridal gowns. So if you’re in need of a wedding dress, you need to check it out. Some of the gowns are bridal versions of gowns in her main store and some are new ones. If anyone has ever been to Dead Dollz, you know the amount of work and detail owner Kiddo Oh puts into her designs. Here are two of my favourites!

Frozen Trapped Under Ice is a vintage strapless gown with silver detailing and a small bow in back. A hud comes with the dress with a choice of all white or faded white for the dress part. Wearing this gown I felt like a fairytale princess.

Tainted Love Bridal is a stunning mermaid type gown with a lace overlay pattern on part of the dress and a small train in back. The groom will not be able to take his eyes off a bride walking down the aisle in this gown.

Bare backs are the sexiest…

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it now, bare backs are one of the sexiest parts for a woman to show and SySy Chapman of SYSY’s has made a gorgeous disco-inspired top doing just that. The Studio 73 top is a sexy, silky top that loops around the neck and covers the breasts. It’s held in place with a belt and comes in 6 shimmery colours.

To go with the tops are sexy disco platforms in the same 6 colours. The shoes are add-ons for SLink medium feet.

Deep shadows and brilliant highlights…

NatiWilliams of Imeka is participating in the current rounds of kustom9 and Liaison Collaborative with 2 cute pose packs and pretty basic purses.

Her first release for kustom9 are the uber cute basic cross-body purses, which come in 7 soft colours with a heart-shape snap. I love that the strap is big so it doesn’t get lost inside your clothing ;).

There is also an 8-pose set called Claire out at kustom9 as well. Poses are well done as usual and blogger friendly.

At the Liaison Collaborative, Julliette is an 8-pose pack of very nice poses that I particularly like. With all Imeka poses, they are clothing conscious. What I mean by that is they try not to distort the clothing too much or not at all which is important when you are blogging. (6 poses in photo below, and the other 2 are in photos 1 & 2 with purses above.)

The ship is sinking…

I was on Titanawak for a fashion shoot when it hit an iceberg. Around me people were running and screaming, trying to get off the ship, but the photographer decided this was a perfect time to shoot. Do you know how hard it is to keep a pose when the floor is tilting? He managed to get the shot and thankfully I made my way off the ship. No I’m not walking on water; you just can’t see the tiny iceflow I’m standing on. 😉 I hope we get rescued soon, I’m freezing.

Dead Dollz is taking part in the KV Summer Fashion Month and the Disorder gown will only be available during the event, which ends June 30th. After that, the gown will be gone. It’s a beautiful form-fitting black taffeta gown with a subtle pattern. Half of the top is covered in lace with a ruffle running from shoulder to hip. A flower begins at the top of the ruffle with a larger flower at the hip.
