Eyes are the windows of the soul…

Ikon Innovia, owner of IKON, creates some of the most amazing eyes on the grid. They are truly beautiful and his newest Odyssey Eyes are no exception. I love the reflections and all the different colours to choose from. This set is currently at the Men’s Dept. until June 30th, then they will be at the main store.

There are 49 colours and each colour includes both regular and mesh eyes (5 sizes of mesh eyes). A hud comes with the mesh eyes to allow you to choose from regular or dark sclera (eye whites) plus stuff like glow, full bright and flip to play with.

Adding ‘sexy’ to Alice in Wonderland

There is a new event currently running called Alice in Sexyland; an adult take on the beloved Alice in Wonderland.

Kiddo Oh of Dead Dollz designed a gorgeous strapless dress decorated with tiny bows. The dress is almost corset-like with a bell-shape skirt but it moves with your body so it’s always changing shape. As you see from a peek in one photo, the inner lining is the red and black playing cards symbols for a bit of whimsy. I love the way the dress looks and moves. It is available in 4 colours (black, white, pink and blue).

Liv Glam’s modern princess

I believe this is Liv Glam’s first appearance at Fit for a Princess and I love her take on this month’s theme “modern princess”. Li’L Darling is a top and pant outfit, with a hud to change the top into 3 colours. The top is beautifully sheer and the pants start off looking like a skirt and end with a capris look. The look screamed desert princess to me so I accessorized accordingly. 😉

LoveBug is a jacket and skirt outfit for the woman who wants a polished look and also for the working woman. The jacket and skirt both come with huds to change each to 3 textures. I love the cut of the jacket and the material looks like a heavy embroidered silk to me. It’s beautifully made.

World Goth Fair enters second week

World Goth Fair is into its second week and runs to June 1st. The event chose the Sophie Lancaster Foundation as their charity for this year.

Lolapop has a couple of hot dresses in their booth and you don’t have to be a goth to wear them. My favourite is the Dahlia Dress. It has a halter style top and falls below the knees with a ruffle edge and slit up one side to show of your sexy thigh. A hud comes with this dress and there are 5 textures/colours to switch between. This mesh dress comes in the standard sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

The Memories Dress is a very short mini with some great colour combinations and spikey shoulder pads. This is the perfect dress to go clubbing and dancing in. A hud comes with it and you have 5 hot colour changes. I love this dress and feel very sexy wearing it. The dress comes in the standard mesh sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

A new round of kustom9 with Marshmallows

Marshmallows has released a great dress called Zina for kustom9, which is currently running. With the turtle neck, it’s a great winter/fall dress and the arm design is unique. I would have loved to have this dress in RL for work, it’s a great dress and really gives off a professional look. It comes in 5 colours and the standard mesh sizes.

Shorts for Fall from Marshmallows

Marshmallows has released some gorgeous new high neck sweaters (black, grey, purple and stripe) and shorts (black, doty and tweed) for fall. These are mesh and come in your standard sizes. I want these sweaters in RL, especially the purple and stripey ones.

The textures are really nice but I do have a little issue with the shorts. I wish the alpha went a little lower on the legs because my skin between my legs shows through, no matter how thin I make them. Also, the length in the back is a tad shorter than in the front. I do love the shorts, especially the doty ones, but it bugs me when I move and my legs show through. I find that spot (between the legs) really hard to fit with mesh anyway without it distorting or showing through (bah stupid legs). 😉

Marshmallows’ has moved…

Yes Marshmallows has moved (new slurl below in credits) and has redesigned a lovely, new store. And along with the move Romy Dash, owner, has released some new pants and tops.

The pants bring us back to the ’70’s and I ADORE them. I had some exactly like these as a teenager and they bring me back to those days. They are mesh and come in 5 colours. The texturing is done very well. The new tops are also mesh and to me the texturing has a velvet look to them.

ALSO, Marshmallows is participating in Fashion Story Fair and I picked up these cool jeans there. You can find her items in the 60s-70s section (my favourite era for clothing). I’m also wearing the new Lassitude & Ennui mesh lace booties for SLink feet, which can be found in this round’s Boutique.

SYSY’s shows at The Boutique

Another edition of the Boutique opened up a day or two ago and this time around SYSY’s is showing there. SySy Chapman has released a beautiful mesh gown in several gorgeous colours. Not only does the gown fit well, the shading from dark to light and from one colour to another is superb.

Also, the gown is “materials-ready” which can only be currently viewed in the official SL “release candidate materials viewer. I’m still not sure what this is, but you can read up on materials ready and what settings you need on the Second Life LL blog. (I use Phoenix so my photos below won’t show anything different.)
