In just a couple of days, Candy Fair will be closing its doors this year. If you have not been to Candy Fair yet, now is the time to check out both sims. There are a ton of great stores offering great merchandise.

I picked up a great outfit by The Sugar Garden and also the lovely necklace. I was lucky to have the matching shoes already in my inventory so I didn’t have to purchase them. I walked next door and found the beautiful hair by Ploom. I knew that I needed the hair in all the colors.

I walked a few doors over and snagged the lovely skin by Kooqla and my look had finally come together. All I needed was a great manicure to top off my look. I knew that my SL Mom – Autumn Amaranth made a great set that would go well with this dress so I explored the 2 sims and found her store “The Wicked Peach”.

While walking around I found what I call a Gothic inspired candy shop display items and pretty much bought all I could. In the picture below you will see items from a new to me brand called “Lucky Charlotte Camille” and I am truly loving what I see. The Dessert Display Table was also available in a couple other color options but the “black” color struck my fancy. Then the candy jars were all so beautifully done and textured, but what I loved most were the “black” candy jars because they had “eyeballs” in the jars and it was beautifully macabre.

Koy @ My Attic

This time around Koy has a nice cute hair for all you ladies out there. It’s perfect for the beach looks or casual looks. I love that it has soft curls and I love the way Steve does the bangs on his hair. Tomorrow is the very last day to pick up this pretty hair at a low cost so come on by and grab it.

I am also wearing clothing by “Lexi Morgan” of [Stellar] designs. The set includes nails and appliers for the Slink Physique Avatar which I happen to be wearing. I also decided to accessorize the outfit with the lovely platform wedges by L.Warwick. There are a variety of colors available at a reasonable price. Hair Fair Post #6 – Discord Designs

It has been a while since Kallisti Burns has released hair and I was happy to see she had a pretty huge release at this years Hair Fair. As usual she had her signature braids that we have all come to love and know her for. She has the best texture and technique for braids in SL.

The styles above are quite unisex and I love each of them dearly. They are available in a wide variety of colors but fatpacking is your best option 😉

Now the styles above can be considered to be a touch of feminine but with the right look I think a man can pull off these hairstyles quite well.

Alice Project @ Hair Fair 2014

I am only showcasing one of Alice Project’s hairs this year from Hair Fair because I still need to show other hair styles also. Alice Project has always been my go-to place when looking for the perfect Gothic Lolita hairstyle. She always had the perfect bangs and her hair hud system was always so easy to use. You seriously got a wide variety of hair color options. She has now updated her huds since alot of her customers were complaining that the hud system was too complex and now it is easy peasy to use. She has broken the hair colors into unique groups and she has introduced a new hair color group that I adore.

I wore this hair because it worked perfectly to accent the hairband that I was sent to blog by Folly. This particular headband is for the We ❤ Roleplay event which is closing soon. The flowers and the amulet are texture changing. You can choose to wear the flowers or the amulets alone or even together. I really adored this headband just for the simple elegance of the headpiece.

I am also wearing the Lora skin by Dead Apples that is available at the We ❤ Roleplay event. I am a huge fan of the skins by Dead Apples and I knew I had to pick up this skin. To add the unique quality of my skin I added some freckles by Pekka which are available at the Cosmetic Fair. I tweaked the picture a little bit in Flickr so that you can get a better view of the freckles.

Hair Fair Post #4 – Adore & Abhor

Today I am showcasing some lovely hair from the talented Airedine Poe of Adore & Abhor. Each of these hairstyles are perfect for kawaii looks and fit perfectly within the EGL roleplay that is quite popular in SL.

From Left to Right: Darling, Francis, and Chu.

Darling is a cute pigtail updo with side-swept bangs. I highly recommend you fatpack the hair with all the color options available you will not be sorry. I couldn’t decide on a single color or a ombre color so I went for a beautiful vibrant ombre hair color. I love how rich and vibrant Airedine’s textures are and they are perfect for kawaii looks.

Now Francis is more of a rockabilly inspired up-do. I loved the bandana wrapped around the hair and there are so many options to choose from for the bandana. I went for a solid vibrant color so it wouldn’t compete with the lovely textures on the bandana.

Chu is a collaborative hair with BOOM. The hair accessory was created and scripted by Ara Megaforce of Boom and it accentuates the hair perfectly. This type of hairstyle is exactly what you will find in EGL cosplay. I wore a pastel hair color for this particular hairstyle because I felt that with the soft delicate features of the bow a more subdued texture would be perfect for the bow.

Hair Fair Post #2 – Koy

Hey! Here I am with another post of awesome hair. As you may have noticed I have recently begun to blog hair for the brand Koy by Steve Cartier. It is a new brand with lovely new styles to fit every girls wardrobe.

At Hair Fair he covered all the styles: punk, cute, and elegant.

Left to Right: Dormer, Mathilda, and Lana.

I loved Dormer because it had that punk edge to the hair while still not going so much overboard. You can still carry this look and make it classy with the hairbases that are included with the hair. If you want to go funky check marketplace or any store inworld that sells etched hairbases it will add some edge to your look.

When I put on Mathilda it reminded me so much of a friend of mine. Every detail down to the way the bangs were parted. Now I’m going to have to call her Mathilda forever. Thanks Steve! But the real reason I loved this hairstyle because it is short and works well when you want to display necklaces and earrings in your photos.

Now when I saw Lana, I immediately though Lana Lane you know from Smallville. This hair reminds me of the hairstyle she wore throughout the gajillion series the had. This particular hairstyle is what I consider as silverscreen queen hairstyle. It has elegance and a casual look to it all in one.

Hair Fair Post #1 – Ploom

Woohoo Hair Fair has started and it is officially in it’s second day of its grand opening. As always I’m a day late in putting up my first post. Although I did have these pictures done in time, alas family fun got the best of me.

So today I am showing you the lovely hairstyles created by the ever so talented Helyanwe Vindaloo, of ploom. I have been a customer of her store from way back in 2007. Back when her store was called “Deviant Kitties”. She had her own niche of hairstyles that she became known for in the hair community. As the years progressed she honed her skills and began creating more and more styles that also attracted different types of customers to her store. She was no longer known as the creator who only focuses on one niche but now one who encompasses all customer groups.

Pickle is a fun cute hairstyle. Perfect for the kawaii look. I do highly recommend you fatpack this hair because all the hair color options will be worth your money.

Plasma is another cute and fun hairstyle that can be used for a variety of looks. It is perfect for gothic lolita roleplay or just someone who likes wearing cute hairstyles. I am wearing the lavender color from the pastel pack. I loved how pretty the color is and how it complimented my outfit.

Honey is a cute up-do with a whimsical twist. The hair is put up in a bow and adorned with a lovely floral headband. The headband is texture changing so you can change the flowers to match your outfit.

Last but not least is Carrie. I absolutely adored this hairstyle. It reminded me of an old picture of my mother where she had a hairstyle similar to this. This is a classic and elegant up-do. Perfect for any occasion.

Hely has been quite busy with the hair making lately. I imagine her being this well oiled machine sitting behind her computer coming up with all the ideas to make all the hair in the world. She has her own signature style which always makes it so much easier to tell by looking at her hair on others where to go when you obviously missed a release or two.

Up first I am going to showcase Hely’s release for FaMESHed. The style is called “Pepper” and it so cute. It is a long hair style with lovely pigtails that gently frame your face perfectly and they don’t get into your tata’s either. As always there is a variety of hair colors for you to choose from but I highly recommend the fat pack option. You never know when it will come in handy 😉

The next hair I want to talk to you about is the “Inge” hair that can be found at the Oh! My Gacha Event. The hairstyle is a wild curly look that is unisex so both male and female avatars can use this hairstyle. You can win this hair by playing the gacha machine at 50L per try. Goodluck!

Not your Princess!

Hello! I’m Lola and I’m not like the other princesses in the kingdom. I don’t like running about in fancy dresses and I don’t like being the typical princess. You can find me in the underbelly of the kingdom causing riots and fights with the local kinsfolk. This time I didn’t bother to take off my tiara when I ran amok in the kingdom. There were rumors about a princess who was different than the others and lo and behold that princess was me.

Well since I was a princess of course I had my own escorts. I had an affinity with my stripper pole and I would take it everywhere with me. I would just plop it in the front where everybody can see me and I would dance seductively. Despite many requests for me to take off my clothes I never did. I was a tease and if any person dared to touch me they would meet the wrath of my guards. My guards adored me, I treated them with far more respect than my sisters. After all, they were pretty much the closest to friends I would ever have that were not of royal blood.

As the kinsfolk of the kingdom soon realized they were in the presence of royalty, their behaviour changed. The men who were attempting to fondle me were now mortified and bowing in my presence. I looked at the crowd and realized the jig was up. They all knew who I was and they averted their gaze from me. I spoke to them and asked them to look at me as I spoke to them. I apologized for my ill mannered behaviour but there are times I just need to get out of the castle and be amongst the kinfolk to know what are the important views and issues that are ailing the kingdom. I also told them that this time I did not want to hide who I was when I was among them, and this is why I had kept my crown on. Although my choice of apparel was less than royal I wanted them to notice that I was wearing the clothing they worked so hard creating that my sisters declined as representations of work from our kingdom. As I was the eldest I get the final say in all matters regarding the kingdom and I wanted to assure my kinsfolk I will overrule my sisters opinion.

I loved the way my hair was styled by ploom and it is available at the Fantasy Collective until July 20th. There are several colors to choose from or you can choose the fatpack version which is by far a great value. The top is by Sakide and features a HUD that allows you to change the texture of the spikes on the back of the jacket to different metals or you can hide the spikes as I did in this post. You can also change the texture of the tank top to coordinate with your outfit., S

Summertime

See that adorable little face. I will do anything to keep him happy. Even if it means dragging myself to the beach house that I acquired recently since he wanted to have a fun summer this year. See what this little boy doesn’t know is that I hate the beach. I hate how the sand feels on my toes, I don’t like being out in the sun at all. So of course I have been hiding out in the beach house. But this little prince of mine had begged me to take him outside for a piggy back ride and really who can say no to that adorable face.

To my surprise this little boy built himself a tree house. I’m pretty sure he got the help of some of my friends. After all he is my little travieso. So he’s running around playing with his tree house and here I am sitting on the stairs staying away from the sand and the sun. I sometimes wonder where he gets all these random spurts of energy from and then I realize the boy knows where I hide his bribes (lol).

This picture showcases the beautiful Carmen hair by ploom. I love the soft long wavy hair that gently graces your body. I decided to wear brown hair this time around instead of my usual purple/black varieties. I love the texture and there are a few versions available in the folder for you to choose from like the rigged for boobs and rigged (regular) and lastly the unrigged version which is perfect for toddleedoos.
