Cute dress from TLB at the Flower Power

Here I am playing in the surf in this adorable dress from The Little Bat out now at the Flower Power event. It is a one-piece dress with a cut out in front to show of a bit of mid-drift. I particularly love the shape of the sleeves. A 14-colour hud comes with the dress and is available in the standard mesh sizes plus fitted for the Belleza, Maitreya Lara and SLink Physique mesh bodies.

Adorable Curly Bows from Katat0nik

Over at the Kawaii Project you’ll find the versatile Curly Bows from Katat0nik. These unisex bows are original mesh/textures and come with a colour-change hud of 18 colours. When you attach the bow it fits perfectly on your head but can be resized and moved around. As you see in my photos below, I made it a bit smaller and attached it to the back of my dress.

I also thought the shape of the bow would compliment these wonderful spooky portraits from Nylon Pinkney i have on my wall. As you can see it does. There are many uses for these bows; just use your imagination. 🙂

At this month’s The Fantasy Collective, Dead Dollz’ exclusive is a grecian type short dress with a metal corset. These dresses are available in 4 colours and each colour includes silver and gold corset versions.

Cila has released a new gas mask covered in leaves and roses. These masks come in 3 colours (white, black or pink) and can be resized by touch. They are currently out at The Fantasy Collective also.

A Store Release at SYSY’s

Stores participate in so many events nowadays that result in not as many store releases as they would like. SYSY’s has a store release with 3 great looks. All 3 cute looks not only fit regular avatars, but also SLink’s Physique and Maitreya’s mesh bodies. The footwear will fit SLink’s flat, medium and high feet.

Look 1 includes a black pencil skirt, with a pink belt and with a black belt, a pink cropped shirt (these are new and can also be purchased separately in an array of colours), classic high pumps in pink and a pink clutch.

Look 2 includes a long black skirt, a sash with a hud to change textures, a tan cropped shirt and flat sandals.

Look 3 includes a long sweater, cropped leggings (new variety pack can be purchased separately with appliers for the bodies), suede wedge shoes and a purse.

Welcome to 2015

It’s the start of a new year and one of my SL resolutions is to try to keep up with my event blogging. Sometimes I get so busy I don’t get everything for an event blogged and then the event ends and by the end of 2014 I had a folder full of stuff I never got blogged or even worn. Another is to clean my inventory LOL. How many of us have that one on our to-do lists? I have been going through my inventory in the past 3 or 4 days and have cleaned out a bit, but there’s a lot more to do.

Winter has finally arrived to my little section of the world with bitter cold. All I want to do is stay in bed and cuddle, and I did that most of yesterday.

Speaking of sleep, Katat0nik designed these cute soft Weenie Dolls for this round of Oneword, whose theme this round is “dream”. These dolls are original mesh and hand drawn and include 5 colours. Touch to turn the pose on/off. The dolls are mod/copy so I rezzed a few, resized them and used them as wall art. They would look adorable in a child’s room. 😉

in memory…

Yesterday I visited for the first time the Donna Fiora Memorial. It’s beautifully designed and very peaceful. It’s quite a contrast weatherwise to what’s happening elsewhere. Lots of snow and cold.

There’s a winter faire that’s been ongoing and Eclectica has a very pretty jewelry set as their faire exclusive. These are original mesh designs, materials ready and are unrigged so they can be resized manually, if needed. The necklace and earrings come in 3 metals with several colours available in each metal.

trip to the space station…

All kids love school trips; it gets them out of the classroom and work for a few hours and is usually loads of fun. Today we went to the DSX Space Station; nirvana for any geek girl.

I wore my new Comical Dress from katat0nik at the Geeks ‘n’ Nerds event. These cute dresses are made specifically for the SLink Physique mesh body and comes in 7 fun colours and patterns. I visited the elephants at the Parktown Zoo yesterday. I chose the adorable katat0nik dress from the Kawaii Project. winter wonderland…

We’ve been getting quite a bit of snow lately and it’s only the middle of autumn. 😦  Anyway it’s time to get out some winter wear. I took a walk over at Lost France to visit some deer.

Over at The Gacha Mania, Cila has some adorably cute earmuffs in their gacha machine. There are 7 common earmuffs and 1 rare (the rabbit).

I’m wearing this very pretty coat I got last year at C’est la vie! and I still love it. I really like the dark fur collar and it goes very well with my mitts from League.

The Boho look…

The Boho Culture fair is underway and I have to admit I love this look. I am a 70’s child and have always loved 70’s fashion, even disco at the end. 🙂

Rain Laval of Juxtapose has designed a really cute necklace that is perfect for the boho look (I’m wearing the necklace in all the photos). The Free Spirit Necklace comes in 8 pretty colours. It’s wrapped several times with the ends coming through a silver hoop and decorated with coloured beads. Her other exclusive is a pose set with a wearable mesh flower stem with the poses built into it (3 of the 5 poses shown below).

PeachieMuah of Fresh Face has this adorable skin out as her fair exclusive. Dahlia is in the snow skin tone and has a cleavage and non-cleavage versions. As you can see on left, the skin is soo cute and on right I added lipstick and freckles and if it’s possible, I look even cuter. LOL

I’m in love with my outfit which is the exclusive from Sassy! Both the top and skirt totally remind me of something I use to wear when I was a young teen back in the day. It’s was so comfortable and I wore it to death in summer. The outfit comes in several colours.

Don’t you just love this hair? As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be mine. It is Suicide Gurls’ Boho fair exclusive called Dahlia (cool, another Dahlia) and as you can see I chose the reds. I love the messy curl look and of course I look cute in it. 😉
