Beauty in darkness at the Black Fashion Fair

The Black Fashion Fair began yesterday and I still can’t get in *gah*. Most people love wearing black and this fair draws in the people.

Petite Mort’s exclusive is the sexy Anne Corset mini dress. The dress comes in the standard mesh sizes as well as sizes for SLink, Belleza and Maitreya mesh bodies for only $165L per colour. There are 6 colours to choose from.

Petite Mort has also done a re-colour of the stunning Violetta gown with 5 beautiful dark colours especially for the fair. I am in love with this gown. I love how it hugs the body and the subtle flower pattern and ruffles.

Grab a fan as you pass…

Spring has arrived at Collabor88 and Katat0nik has 2 colour packs of beautiful metal flower fans for sale. There is a pack of 3 colours and one of 4 colours of the fans. They are orignal mesh and non-rigged so they can be resized (as you can see in my photos, I resized 1 fan small to wear in my hair and one large as a decoration behind the bench, as examples). There are no poses in the fans but are easy to move around.

My adorable dress from Zenith is also from Collabor88. I love the pantaloons and from a hud they can be removed if you so wish. There are several colour options for the turtle neck as well. I am in love with the dress and have been wearing it for days. 😉

The annual Magic of Oz Easter Hunt is on!

The Magic of Oz Easter Hunt began on March 23rd and runs until April 8th. When you arrive, touch the sign for your basket and run around clicking on easter eggs to fill your basket. Once filled, a menu will pop up with a choice of stores for you to choose one and you will receive eggs for that store’s gift. Go to that store on the Oz sim, wear the eggs near the basket in the store and touch the worn eggs for your gift. It’s great fun!

Katat0nik has 2 gifts for the hunt. The adorably cute Eva Bunny V2 Tattoo Sleeves are original art tattoos. This is a new version from a previous release. They’ve been remade with new bunnies and brighter colours that includes 3 versions (dark, medium, light). The applier for the tattoos are for SLink male & female, Maitreya and Omega. There are tattoo layers as well but aren’t ideal as the default avatar makes the tattoos look pixelated so best bet is to use with the mesh bodies. I LOVE these tattoo sleeves.

The second gift is the Bunny Donut Stick. Nine colours are included with this original mesh accessory. It has no pose but can be resized and moved around so you can move it to have your av hold it, or use it as decoration. (I enlarged them and put them on my wall.)

The Beauty of Sakura Flowers

The Kawaii Project has a “sakura” theme this round and NatiWilliams of Imeka designed two complimentary pieces. The “Delicate Sakura Crown” is a crown of very pretty sakura flowers, which is available in 4 colours. There is a matching “Sakura Branches” which are worn as antlers covered in the same sakura flowers as the crown. It too comes in 4 colours. You can wear each one separately or together as a set. The four colours are blue, pink, peach and red and each colour of each item is sold separately.

Gothic Wastelands Fair

The Gothic Wastelands Fair is currently running and The Little Bat is participating with their exclusive ‘Wasteland Outfit’. Spring is in the air with Imeka’s “Spring Cute” collection at the Arcade. The collection consists of 24 common items and 1 rare item, which are:

Fantastic Holographic Theme at Collab88

I love holographic textures and for this round of Collab88, Katat0nik’s item is the cute Star Wing hair clips for pigtails. The clips are original mesh and textures and can be resized and are moveable, so you can wear them anywhere! Left and right are separate pieces and a hud is included that has 8 colour options for the wings, big stars and small stars.

Note: Always make copies of the originals before you make changes, believe me you’ll be happier for it. 😉 I decided on a tiara and just moved the left and right together and resized a bit. Another copied and resized for my wings and another for a belt buckle.

Also from Collab88 is my bodysuit, from erratic, and boots, from Pure Poison. The bodysuit is made for the Maitreya Lara mesh body and the boots include a hud with several colour options.

Cozy Winter Lolita is the rage for this hunt!

The Cupcakes Anonymous Hunt is a grid-wide 10L hunt that runs from January 1st to January 31st. The theme for the hunt is “Cozy Winter Lolita” and The Little Bat has gone to the dark side for her hunt items.

First is the Beary Coat, which is a one-piece that includes the turtleneck. It has a ruffled collar and cuffs, a leather belt and a snowflake design trailing to a cute polar bear peeking over the hem. The coat comes with a hud in 6 deliciously dark colours. The second item is a matching bow earmuffs which includes a hud with the same colours as the coat plus you can also change the jewel in the bow.

The Little Bat has also created a cute winged septum ring for this round of Suicide Dollz, which is a bi-weekly event. The septum ring comes with a hud that has 8 colours to choose from.

Buckle Coat… this season`s must have item!

Katat0nik`s unisex buckle coat is a must have for this winter season. The coats are original fitmesh with hand-drawn textures and are available in several colours. Each colour includes a male and female version (yay!) and look fabulous on. I especially love the high, wide neck and the buckles down the front. Very fashionable and will keep you warm on those cold, snowy days!

I love dolly dresses!

Though I’m not fully back yet, I could not pass up blogging these adorable dresses from Katat0nik. For this month’s Arcade, artist Katat0nik Pidgeon designed some of the cutest dolly dresses I’ve ever seen (I squeeed when I saw them). They are original mesh with hand-drawn textures of Kat’s own artwork. They are flat-chested fitmesh and can fit the default SL avatar, SLink Physique and Maitreya Lara mesh bodies. You will find 11 commons and 1 rare in the gacha machine at only $50L per play.
