Beautiful jewelry for the mermaid lurking inside you…

The theme for this round of Enchantment is mermaids (or mer people?) 🙂 and Sax Shepherd Designs’ event exclusive is a beautiful earring and maang tikka set. The design of the jewelry is a shell shape with tiny flowers and pearls. A hud is included that offers colour changing of 12 jewel colours and 5 metal colours.

Buried… is it safe?

Katat0nik has provided a prize for the latest game from MadPea called “Buried”. It’s a delightful ax in the face with broken glasses and blood. Kat, you just know the right gifts to give. 😉 The Axed Glasses are original mesh and have a resize script. You have to complete the game in order to get to the prize room and claim your gifts.

BURIED is an interactive game where players investigate the disappearance of Lillianna Morano (fictional character). During the game, players will follow the story of Lillianna’s disappearance and visit participating shops to play and collect prizes while using the BURIED Hud. These MadPea events are pretty fun and will keep you busy for weeks! The game ends March 31st.

I love MadPea games and have finished this one. It is a tad on the tough side but then I find most MadPea games are. What makes them fun and worth doing is the people you meet along the way. There are always tons of people playing the game and I find I’m always finding someone along the way to team up with and play together. More brain power to help find the clues is always good! So if you’re alone, don’t worry about it; ask someone in the location you find yourself in, if they want to team up and find the clue together. And there’s also the MadPea group chat which is always good for getting hints and help. Believe me I use it a lot!

Get out there and have fun and maybe you’ll get your own ax in the face! muahahahahaha

Are you afraid of spiders?

Juxtapose has a couple of great pose props out for the Halloween Fair that is currently running. The Worst nightmare pose prop is a scary scene with webs and big ugly spiders. There are even a couple of spiders you can attach to yourself and a popup menu for a selection of 8 poses.

Also from the Halloween Fair is this great hair from Runaway called Shelley. And out at the katat0nik main store is a cute halloween version of the Playgirl Dress. It comes in green, black or red with either a skull or toy belt.

Juxtapose’s other prop is this wonderful ghost. Just rez it and click on it to sit and a menu pops up with 6 poses. It’s liked being hugged by ghostly arms. LOL 😉

Yesterday was the closing day of Futurewave. My intention was to get these posts out during this week but alas being ill has muddled with my plans. If you get lucky, some of these stores will begin to carry these items in their mainstores soon.

MIA’14 – New skins by MIASNOW

Oh hello there! It’s me Lola making a appearance on this blog again. I have been quite ill and well I sprained my hand pretty badly that immobilized me for quite a while. And well I am back hoorah!!! Pats self on back and begins with this post.

Ok so MIASNOW is back!!! And not only is she back she has a brand new skin line called “Ember” in a wide variety of shades. Totally stealing her Flickr pic for you to see the variations in skin color.

I mean she pulled out all the stops for this new release. Appliers up the wazoo. You got one of them pregnant bellies….well she’s got an applier for that. And those of you who love your phat azz and cutie azz she also has appliers for you. Not to mention Lolas and SLINK Appliers.

What you get is a base skin that you can add on all the features using tattoo layers. There are a ton of eyebrow varieties in several colors; even tintable brows. You can choose whether or not you want to wear the eyeliner with lashes or just the lashes only. You can also add on blush to accentuate your features. Last but not least….omg the lips. Seriously she has these amazing red lip textures that are to die for. But that’s not all, she even has tintable lipstick versions so you can haz all zeeeee colors!!! So I’ll show you a pic of how I started off with the base skin and added the layers. I am wearing the base skin with base makeup but there is also a base skin without any makeup up for sale.

There are countless possibilities on how you can customize your face using Mia’s tattoo layers. Also, did I mention that the new skin line is super affordable? They are 299L each skin tone and 999L for a fatpack of all the skin tones. Appliers are only 99L each or 199L for the fatpack.

I am seriously in love with the body of this skin. I love how smooth the tummy is and the little dimples right above the butt. This is going to be my go to skin for a while and I can have fun playing with all the skin tones I normally wouldn’t wear.

Ok also, I have to say that the new “Super Cute” lingerie by DeeTalez is absolutely breathtaking. I loved how well textured it was and it accentuated and added allure in just the right place while covering my naughty bits 😛

So I leave you in awe and with a little tidbit of knowledge….if you want to test out this skin w/o the whole demo thing painted on your body there is a dollarbie available in the Pale version (the one I’m wearing in the pictures) with orange lipstick and the eyeliner/eyelash combo. Clowns and mad mad maids

I love MiaSnow Myriam’s artwork and have been a fan of her skins since I joined SL in 2007. MiaSnow is always my first place to go when I am looking for a different type of skin and own several. Her work is unique and first rate so I was soooooo excited to see her clown skin at Horrorfest.

The skins and makeup come separately so if you only want one thing you don’t have to purchase everything, but I do believe you’ll want it all. 😉 There are several versions of the Candy Clown skins (clean, with big red nose, with small red nose, etc) and SLink appliers and lola tangos appliers come with the skins. There are the incredible Candy Clown Lases which 100% of the proceeds go to the Epilepsy Therapy Project charity. There’s the Candy Clown Makeup, Candy Lips Pack and a Fright Night set of makeup. Her hunt item is the Bloody Clown makeup.

All the makeups come on tattoo layers so it’s easy to mix and match; some are even combined to save add-on space. Just ADD to layer everything up to get your looks. I’m a clown lover so this is right up my alley!

Ilaya has a great set of poses called Bloody Maid which includes a mesh knife. These are fun poses. There is even a Maid Dress Bloody that goes perfect with the theme; it comes in 3 colours and standard mesh sizes. A knife even comes with these dresses. There is a white version of the Maid Dress that is Ilaya’s hunt gift. The exclusive item is a pretty orange Knit Skull Top which 100% of the proceeds go to the charity.

Faster Pussycat, Souzou Eien & ISD at Horrorfest

Horrorfest opens tomorrow and I can hear the screams of YAY already. There is a lot of fantastic shops taking part for this charity event, of which The Epilepsy Therapy Project is the charity.

Faster Pussycat has some really sexy clothing out. The Kawaii mesh corset I’m wearing is in Cameo. It comes with bows, stockings and panties and comes in several designs. The Ballerina Dress is adorable, has a mesh flower brooch across the top of the dress and comes in several colours, my particular favourite is the navy & stripes. The fishnet stockings and bracelets come with each dress. All 3 items come in the standard mesh sizes. Also coming from Faster Pussycat is the Heartbroken Crown with a pumping heart. Really creepy in a good way!

Souzou Eien has released the beautiful Elegant Throat Corset which comes in 4 textures (Charlotte, Velveteen, Gothic & Delicate Lace). I’m wearing the Delicate Lace and Velveteen in the photos. Each comes with a hud to change colours of both the corset and lace so you can mix & match colours or remove the lace altogether). These are mesh and come in standard sizes and are both for men and women.

ISD’s Death Grip Choker and Earrings are stunning. Again they are mesh and the choker comes in various sizes. There are 4 colours for the choker/earrings (Death & Blood are what I’m wearing below). You can purchase as a set or purchase each separately. I love them.

A Clockwork Spiral – A Tailspin of Fun!

Ok so I wanted to try something different with my blogging. I took all my pictures at the A Clockwork Spiral Event, and I experimented with a ton of different Windlight features. I took a ton of pictures trying to showcase most of the items. There is exactly 1.5 days left and I noticed there were a few more additions in some of the shops since I explored it the other day. So lets get on with the pictures.

I wanted to focus on the mask and emulate a bird landing on a bridge and being caught by a photographer.

In my second picture I was going for a lovely woman walking across the promenade with her parasol and purse in hand. Ready for a day of shopping.

The third picture features a pilot, preparing her steam zeppelin for lift off by turning on some vintage tunes to entice the crew to work quickly.

My final portrait series features items from Avatar Bizarre, I wanted to showcase the diversity in his designs.

[Atooly] Sim Hunt

I know you are probably wondering….OMG why didn’t I hear about this hunt. Well its because I fail at keeping up with blogging. Never fear though, the hunt is still going strong on the [Atooly] Sim and will end approximately on the 18th of September. To enjoy the hunt as I did TP HERE

I did the hunt Sunday afternoon with my bratty sister Phire. We had fun and I ended up buying a few things from the vendors on the sim. I took pictures of most of the hunt items so I hope you enjoy the pics.
