Petite Mort at the Dreams Gacha

The Dreams Gacha opens tomorrow, April 6th and runs til April 28th. Petite Mort has 2 gacha machines entered; one filled with cool leather studded ballet flats and the other with the Satin Garden collection (tops, skirts and dresses).

The Satin Garden Collection consists of 14 commons and 3 rares. The commons are pretty satin bustiers and satin-trimmed tulle skirts and the rares are pretty satin scrunchy dresses. The machine is only 50L per play.

The Leather Studded Ballet Flats have 11 commons and 3 rares and are for the Belleza and SLink mesh feet. Each colour comes with silver and gold hardware. The commons are solid colours and rares are the leopard, floral and solid black flats. This machine is also 50L per play.

Goth Meets Hipster

The Hipster Fair has started and The Little Bat’s exclusives show goth can be hip.

First up is the Piper Top, though it’s long enough to wear as a mini dress. Top includes a hud with 2 colour changes for the shirt and 12 texture/colour changes for the sweater. The other exclusive is the adorable Hipster Jumpsuit and it also has a hud with several t-shirt texture changes. Drusilla also created a cute ‘stache necklace as a gift for anyone dropping by her booth.

It was a hard-fought fight but we were able to keep the icky boys out of our fort. They never heed our “NO BOYS ALLOWED” sign so today they paid the price.

Over at GEN-Neutral Katat0nik has some great leg bandanas that both boys and girls can wear. With your purchase you receive 2 bandanas, for the left and right legs, and a hud with 18 colours to play with. Since the bandanas are modifiable, I made copies (always make a copy of the original) and resized one and moved it to my arm and moved the other to my leg so I’m wearing 2 on the same leg.

Hot summer looks from Katat0nik and Imeka

Now that we’re into beach weather, over at Collab88, Katat0nik and Imeka give us some great summertime wardrobe items, topped off with ice cream. 😉

Katat0nik’s summer hoodie is a perfect beach coverup. The garment hangs off the shoulders and upper arms and is open in front. Being fitmesh, it will fit most shapes using SLink Physique and Maitreya’s Lara mesh bodies plus the default SL body. Seraphim Social’s ethereal round…

Kiddo Oh designed a beautiful gown for Dead Dollz’ participation in this round of Seraphim Social. This beautiful gown has a halter style top with a wide band around the waist. It comes in 4 colours (pink, gold, blue and white) and each colour includes 2 versions of the gown – one with a solid top and one with a sheer top. When I look at the gown I think of it as being made in velvet and for the sheer version, the top part is sheer organza. It indeed is luxurious to wear!

PXL has released their new SweetLips Mesh Mouth. I love the shape of this mouth… it’s very sensual looking. The mouth comes with a mod and no-mod (resizer) version and a hud to match skin colours, change lip colours and even turn off/on up to 3 liprings. It comes pre-programmed with the PXL skin tones and some other tones as well, plus some spaces to save tones you choose yourself. There is also a deveoper’s kit available for designers. That being said, as with all appliers, there is some work to match your skin and I know creator Hart Larsson is continuing to make changes to it.

Welcome to 2015

It’s the start of a new year and one of my SL resolutions is to try to keep up with my event blogging. Sometimes I get so busy I don’t get everything for an event blogged and then the event ends and by the end of 2014 I had a folder full of stuff I never got blogged or even worn. Another is to clean my inventory LOL. How many of us have that one on our to-do lists? I have been going through my inventory in the past 3 or 4 days and have cleaned out a bit, but there’s a lot more to do.

Winter has finally arrived to my little section of the world with bitter cold. All I want to do is stay in bed and cuddle, and I did that most of yesterday.

Speaking of sleep, Katat0nik designed these cute soft Weenie Dolls for this round of Oneword, whose theme this round is “dream”. These dolls are original mesh and hand drawn and include 5 colours. Touch to turn the pose on/off. The dolls are mod/copy so I rezzed a few, resized them and used them as wall art. They would look adorable in a child’s room. 😉

I found myself checking out Brook Hill sim today, it’s very pretty, and I decided to be a proper lady. 😉   I love this little dress and sweater set from Offbeat.  And I’m always looking for a reason to wear my poodle shoes and purse from Schadenfreude.
