Lucky on St. Patrick’s Day

Luck of The Irish Gacha Fair began March 13th and ends March 27th. It is a sim-wide event held on the Metropolis sim. One of the participants is The Little Bat who has 2 gacha machines entered at the fair. One is filled with Celtic Garters, 8 commons and 1 rare, and each comes with one for the left and right leg. They are resizable. The second machine is filled with Lunar Nose Chains. There are 32 to collect, 16 different colours but 1 animated and 1 non-animated of each colour.

Exposeur at the Pose Fair for 2016

This year’s Pose Fair is underway and one of my purchases was this great Hex Wall prop from Exposeur. The wall is entirely hexagonal tiles and has a slight arc to it. It holds 10 great poses and their mirrors. But you can do so much more with it. Besides using the poses, you can use it as a backdrop, add decor, etc. The uses are limitless.

This prop is special as 100% of its proceeds will be going to help RubyStarlight Writer’s (owner) cat Brookie get her surgery. If you touch the sign you receive a notecard with more information on this for you.

In need of new luggage…

A new round of Mix has begun and you’ll need to pickup a hud to participate. You can get a hud by joining the Mix Update Group (they send the hud out on the 1st and 15th of the month) or at the Mix Marketplace store (it’s 0L).

For this round, Pizza and Flowey have collaborated on some hip and funky suitcases, which are located at the Pizza main store. The luggage comes in a variety of patterns and colours and each includes a hold pose.

Also, the cool wall/door backdrop is from Exposeur and currently at the Gacha Garden. The gacha holds 3 different types of walls/doors in a variety of colours and includes several poses. There are also 2 rares plus a special wall/door for every 20 plays.

Desert people…

Dead Dollz’ newest top is called Missandei, after a handmaiden of Daenerys in Game of Thrones. The halter style top is available in 6 colours and each colour comes with a hud allowing changes to the bow, belt and hooks. It currently can be found at The Fantasy Collective.

Hopscotch has pretty new headbands out at Create Your Own Tarot. Each headband comes in 1 of 10 different gem colours and each has a hud with 2 metal options for the coins and metal parts.

lazy days of summer…

Out now at Chapter 4 is 2 cute daisy ring sets from Imeka. There are 2 colours in each set and for left and right hands. One pack has black and white daisy’s and the other has blue-tipped and pink-tipped daisy rings. There is also a very nice pose set of lays from Imeka. All the poses in my post are from this pose pack of 6 poses.

One outfit is from Nylon Outfitters which consists of boho denim shorts, a lace halter and a wonderful kimono. Blueberry’s rippped denim shorts and Pixicat’s bohemian top is my other outfit. Yummy provided the Boho Necklace & Earrings, the Hamsa Necklace and the hippy shades. These chunky platforms are from Pure Poison. I had shoes like these when I was a teenager. Lastly, the rugs are from Cheeky Pea. Everything I mentioned is from this round of Uber except the Hamsa necklace.

The beauty of Mistero Hifeng’s work…

Everyone needs to head over to Lea29 to check out the hauntingly beautiful sculptures of Mistero Hifeng. The exhibit is amazing and in the past few weeks I’ve seen many photos on Flickr taken by visitors.

twinkle, twinkle, little star…

December finds a lot of schools putting on plays and I’m going to be a star in this year’s school play. I found this adorable little star costume from Cila at the Winter Trend SL fair. It comes in 3 colours and each colour includes a hud to change the stars to either gold, silver or black.

Cila’s first foray into designing shoes resulted in these cute shoes with star heels. The shoes are compatible with SLink medium feet and come in 12 colours.

Hart Larsson of PXL has released a new version of his beautiful Mia skin for this round of Uber, called Macabre. It comes in the pale skin tone with 4 wonderful makeups. Each makeup includes 9 brow colour options, a cleavage option and nails remover.

Also from Uber I found these wonderful long claw gloves from Baiastice, which comes in several colours, my hot shoes from Fri.day, the eyes and horns are from Izzie’s, Maxi Gossamer’s large cross necklace and hair from Truth, which includes the headband. Both hair and headband colours can be changed via a hud.

The sexy vintage corset outfit is from Pixicat at last round’s Collab88. I adore this outfit and it comes in a few really nice colours besides black. Lastly, the fox tattoo is from .Things. at the Fantasy Gacha.

Xiasumi School Festival

The Xiasumi School Festival began yesterday and runs until November 30th. This is a bi-annual event and this round’s theme is Japanese culture/school festival. The proceeds and tips will be donated to the Japan Earthquake Tsunami Children Relief Fund.

Cila is participating in this event with a Cafe Princess and Cafe Prince outfit. The princess outfit consists of a top and skirt (with apron) and the prince outfit is the same type of top but with pants and apron. The outfits are fitted mesh and there are 5 colours to choose from. The bowtie is from Cila’s main store.
