Lucky on St. Patrick’s Day

Luck of The Irish Gacha Fair began March 13th and ends March 27th. It is a sim-wide event held on the Metropolis sim. One of the participants is The Little Bat who has 2 gacha machines entered at the fair. One is filled with Celtic Garters, 8 commons and 1 rare, and each comes with one for the left and right leg. They are resizable. The second machine is filled with Lunar Nose Chains. There are 32 to collect, 16 different colours but 1 animated and 1 non-animated of each colour.

Under the Sea with Hopscotch

Hopscotch is currently taking part in The Gathering with a gacha machine filled with “Under the Sea” theme items. There are 6 commons which include 2 riding dolphins (pink and blue), 2 huggable dolphins (pink and blue) and 2 crowns (gold and silver). The 2 rares are the Dolphin Carriages pulled by pink or blue dolphins.

I was delighed with all of these and think they are adorable. The carriages come with an AO, so just remove your regular AO and when you attach your carriage, attach the AO and go for a ride under the sea and feel like royalty. 😉

Katat0nik’s gorgeous Dragons at the Arcade

On an unchartered island in the pacific lives a civilization of dragon riders. When a dragon is hatched, it is given to a young maiden to rear and once grown, they will become a team to protect their way of life from outsiders.

At this round of the Arcade, Katat0nik has two gacha machines; the first is filled with these beautiful dragons. They are original mesh with hand-drawn textures and materials ready. There is a resize script and attach to your shoulders, though you can move them and even rez them for decoration. There are 5 common and 2 rare dragons (black & white are the rares) at 50L per play.

The second gacha machine is filled with painted wooden birds. These cute birds are original and hand-drawn textures and include a hold pose. They can be resized and also rezzed if you want to use them as decorations. There are 7 common colours and no rares all for 25L per play.

Stories&Co. by Flowey designed some great baseball tee’s for this round of N-21. They brought back lots of teen memories for me. I practically lived in these things when I was a teenager. We Love Roleplay is back with beautiful shopping…

We Love Roleplay is back in a beautiful new location loaded down with an abundance of fantastic items for all our roleplay needs. Three of my favourite shops are long-time participants at WLR and have once again created some wonderful items for us.

Hart Larsson of PXL’s event contribution is a stunning skin called Shara. This skin is available in 2 skin tones (pale and sunkiss) and each tone comes in 3 makeups. Each makeup comes with freckles, moles, breast sizes and lip gloss (in layers and applier for Sweet Lips). Each skin comes with a 25% discount while the event lasts.

Dead Dollz’ event exclusive is a gorgeous body suit called Marla. Marla comes in 8 beautiful colours (4 dark and 4 pale) at a 25% discount. It comes in the standard mesh sizes but I’m wearing it with SLink’s Physique mesh body and had no problem fitting it.

Lastly, Lassitude & Ennui’s exclusive is a very pretty neckpiece. The Chenoeh neckpiece is available in 3 metals (black, silver and gold) and each comes with a hud to change the pearl colours. This too is at a 25% discount until the event ends.

A new round of Mix has begun and you’ll need to pickup a hud to participate.  You can get a hud by joining the Mix Update Group (they send the hud out on the 1st and 15th of the month) or at the Mix Marketplace store (it’s 0L).

Over at the Flowey main store for Mix, owner Flutter Memel has some adorable ice cream cone chairs set up in a gacha machine for only 25L each. There are 10 commons and 4 rares (in the photo, the empty seat is one rare). Each chair holds 4 cute poses.

Minotaur Handmaidens

The mighty minotaur surrounds himself with handmaidens who are at his beck and call.

Currently at We Love Roleplay Dead Dollz has these beautiful Minotaur Horns for sale. The glass horns are wrapped in cord and comes with a hud to allow colour changes of both the horns and cording. As well, the Ariadne Dress is available in the same 4 colours as the colour scheme for their spring collection released several weeks ago. Besides black and white, the dress is available in soft pink and soft blue. Each dress comes with a hud to change the texture of the belt/collar.

Dead eyes…

Katat0nik is participating in this round of Oneword which runs from May 1st to May 15th. The word for this round is “darkness” and Kat has given us black roses growing out of our eyes. Included are the mesh roses and texture black eyes, for only 50L.

Kata0nik also has a tiny satellite store set up at Oporuto until May 31st and has put a cute skull bow out as a gift for the duration of the stay. A hud comes with the hair bow to change between black and white colours.

My fantastic eye makeup, which includes the eyebrows, comes from Lovely Disarray and Runaway’s new hot “Yolandi” hair, are both currently at the Dark Style Fair.

Punk is at Collab88

Punk is this month’s theme at Collab88 which warms my heart. I grew up during the original punk time of the ’70s and have always had a love for the style.

Katatonik designed very cool Bow Wrist Straps that fit both the default av and mesh bodies. These original mesh straps come in 9 colours and can be resized. All colours have a left and right version and the whole pack is only 88L.

Take a look at my funky nails. They come from the brilliant hands of Nylon Pinkney of Nylon Outfitters. The Punk Nails Collection is available for both SLink and Maitreya.

Ivy Graves of Atomic has opened a new brand called Noir for more of a darker side of clothing and one of her first designs is the cute plaid dress I’m wearing. It comes with a hud giving you 2 skirt colours and 6 top textures.

One of my favourite shoe shops, Fri.day, has new punkish boots out that come in several colours. I always look forward to seeing what they have at Collab88.

And fast becoming a favourite jewelry shop is Yummy. I love Polyester’s funky designs and the safety pins brings back memories of old-time 70’s punks. you don’t see a lot of them today. 😉 The spiked collar with lock is brilliant as well.

Are you afraid of spiders?

Juxtapose has a couple of great pose props out for the Halloween Fair that is currently running. The Worst nightmare pose prop is a scary scene with webs and big ugly spiders. There are even a couple of spiders you can attach to yourself and a popup menu for a selection of 8 poses.

Also from the Halloween Fair is this great hair from Runaway called Shelley. And out at the katat0nik main store is a cute halloween version of the Playgirl Dress. It comes in green, black or red with either a skull or toy belt.

Juxtapose’s other prop is this wonderful ghost. Just rez it and click on it to sit and a menu pops up with 6 poses. It’s liked being hugged by ghostly arms. LOL 😉
