The annual Magic of Oz Easter Hunt is on!

The Magic of Oz Easter Hunt began on March 23rd and runs until April 8th. When you arrive, touch the sign for your basket and run around clicking on easter eggs to fill your basket. Once filled, a menu will pop up with a choice of stores for you to choose one and you will receive eggs for that store’s gift. Go to that store on the Oz sim, wear the eggs near the basket in the store and touch the worn eggs for your gift. It’s great fun!

Katat0nik has 2 gifts for the hunt. The adorably cute Eva Bunny V2 Tattoo Sleeves are original art tattoos. This is a new version from a previous release. They’ve been remade with new bunnies and brighter colours that includes 3 versions (dark, medium, light). The applier for the tattoos are for SLink male & female, Maitreya and Omega. There are tattoo layers as well but aren’t ideal as the default avatar makes the tattoos look pixelated so best bet is to use with the mesh bodies. I LOVE these tattoo sleeves.

The second gift is the Bunny Donut Stick. Nine colours are included with this original mesh accessory. It has no pose but can be resized and moved around so you can move it to have your av hold it, or use it as decoration. (I enlarged them and put them on my wall.)

For all the cat lovers…

Cats seems to be the theme for this round of the Kawaii Project with lots of cute items filling the booths, such as Imeka and Katat0nik.

Imeka has 2 releases for the event. An adorable pair of black cat drop earrings and a cat ear flower headband. Both are 100% original mesh and the headband comes with a hud that changes colours on the flowers and ears.

Katat0nik has a gacha filled with cuddly kitty dolls. The original mesh, 100% hand drawn textured kitty come in a variety of colours. There are 10 commons and 1 rare (rare in photo below). There is a resize script and each doll contains a hold pose. They are 50L per play.

Oversized Tee’s, a wardrobe staple…

We all love to wear t-shirts, be it a perfect fit or oversized. The oversized tee can be worn as a cute mini-dress, worn over jeans, leggings, etc., and even to sleep in. Flowey released some super cute oversized tee’s at Collab88 in an abundance of colours and textures.

Here I’ve paired it over some rolled-up jeans on a day out sight seeing and I do look super cute.

And here I am at the beach wearing one as a coverup over my bikini while, ummm, taking my medicine. 😉

Hot summer looks from Katat0nik and Imeka

Now that we’re into beach weather, over at Collab88, Katat0nik and Imeka give us some great summertime wardrobe items, topped off with ice cream. 😉

Katat0nik’s summer hoodie is a perfect beach coverup. The garment hangs off the shoulders and upper arms and is open in front. Being fitmesh, it will fit most shapes using SLink Physique and Maitreya’s Lara mesh bodies plus the default SL body. It is available in 7 colours and you receive 2 of each colour, one as a solid and one with a pretty hibiscus pattern.

Imeka has several items out at C88. Her yummy ice cream cones are available in 5 flavours and each comes with a hud to change the cone paper textures. Each ice cream is only 88L. You’ll want the cute Watermelon umbrella to protect your skin from the harsh sun. You receive 2 umbrellas, one pink and one red. As with the umbrellas, the watermelon earrings come in pink and red in one pack and includes a hud to change metals.

old school gaming…

I can relate to the old-school gaming found at Level Up this round.

Hopscotch has put out 3 board games – Miller’s Delight Box, Flip It! and Don’t Get Angry, Avatar. These board games come with their boxes which can be unliked so you can remove the box if you want to. These are decorations only.

Also at Level Up is the adorable Froggie Dress from Katat0nik. This is a retexture of Katat0nik’s Imaginative School Girl dress but without all the attachments. They also have a gacha machine filled with cute cookie necklaces inspired by Pacman and Ms Pacman for only 35L a play. There are 6 commons and no rares. 🙂

harvest moon…

A new round of The Secret Affair is underway with “harvest moon” as its theme. From Lassitude & Ennui comes a pretty suede dress trimmed in fur and wrapped with cording. This is an original mesh piece in the standard sizes and comes in 6 colours. Each colour is 280L or 840L for the fatpack. This dress is perfect for various roleplay scenarios.

Also from Lassitude & Ennui is a beautiful torc necklace with an intricately carved dragon head or raven head. Another original mesh piece, it comes in black, silver or gold metal for only 90L per metal or 270L for the fatpack.

Xiasumi School Festival

The Xiasumi School Festival began yesterday and runs until November 30th. This is a bi-annual event and this round’s theme is Japanese culture/school festival. The proceeds and tips will be donated to the Japan Earthquake Tsunami Children Relief Fund.

Cila is participating in this event with a Cafe Princess and Cafe Prince outfit. The princess outfit consists of a top and skirt (with apron) and the prince outfit is the same type of top but with pants and apron. The outfits are fitted mesh and there are 5 colours to choose from. The bowtie is from Cila’s main store.

Rumpelstiltskin

November’s round of Enchantment is inspired by Rumpelstiltskin. If you’re not familiar with how Enchantment works, you purchase an exclusive item at participating main stores and you will receive a stamp card and landmark to gifts with each purchase. Go to all particpating stores to get the card stamped then you can redeem it for a prize from any of the participating stores.

Dead Dollz’ exclusive is a beautiful cameo choker which comes in 5 colours, for 200L. When you redeem a full stamp card and want Dead Dollz’ prize, it is a beautiful gown that comes with a texture changing hud in the same 5 colours as the choker. The exclusive gown will never be sold in store.

The Miller’s Daughter Gown has a full skirt with a delicate flower pattern and a ribbon around the waist. It’s very feminine and reminds me of southern belles. The Miller’s Daughter Choker has a cameo on a velvet ribbon surrounded in tiny stones with a drop stone, to match the gowns.

October is a busy month…

Creators across the grid have been very busy in October. There is an abundance of events taking place and the creativity is wonderful to see.  One such is the RMK Gothic Halloween event. Cila and Senzafine are just two of the fine stores taking part in this event.

Cila has a gacha filled with 20 common bats and 1 rare set of 4 bats. There are 4 poses in 5 colours each for only 50L a play. The bats are modifiable so I rezzed one and resize…… err…. I cast a spell and grew my minion to the appropriate size to serve me. Yeah, that’s what I did. 😉

Senzafine’s exclusives for the RMK event are these beautiful velvet mesh armwarmers with lace detailing. These are gorgeous and I hope Synjari released these in more colours. The armwarmers are called Willow and I like to think she named them after me. 😉 Her other item is this great Book of Shadows, which comes with a holding pose.

The Top Shelf event started a few days ago and these unisex Bram Glasses are found there. These fabulous glasses are from Random Matters and come in 3 metals. There is a hud to change the lens colours.

Starting tomorrow, October 10th, is the Mystic Realms event. My beautiful top and skirt comes from Sakide. The top is made up of straps and the skirt has front thigh-high slits to show off my legs. There are also straps for your arms. The outfit comes in several colours.

Another Mystic Realms store is Pekka with this very pretty head chain and necklace. Both pieces come in several metal choices and each are sold separately.
