Another day of dreary school but at least we have these delicious franken suckers to munch on. Katat0nik has provided 8 Franken Nerd Candy in a gacha, 6 commons and 2 rares, for only 25L per play. For all the cat lovers…

Cats seems to be the theme for this round of the Kawaii Project with lots of cute items filling the booths, such as Imeka and Katat0nik.

Imeka has 2 releases for the event. An adorable pair of black cat drop earrings and a cat ear flower headband. Both are 100% original mesh and the headband comes with a hud that changes colours on the flowers and ears.

Katat0nik has a gacha filled with cuddly kitty dolls. The original mesh, 100% hand drawn textured kitty come in a variety of colours. There are 10 commons and 1 rare (rare in photo below). There is a resize script and each doll contains a hold pose. They are 50L per play.

A glimpse of colour…

In the current round of On9 SYSY’s designed a cute new mini-dress. The Siren dress comes in 5 colours and each colour comes with a hud that gives 3 colour options to change the inner lining of the dress. A portion of the top is flipped over showing that inner colour. It comes in the standard mesh sizes but also works with the Maitreya and SLink mesh bodies.

Fantasy Faire is underway

The Fantasy Faire is spread over 13 sims with beautiful builds and lots of items for your roleplaying. The faire exclusive’s are for Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

Stone’s Works is one of the participating vendors and has a very pretty Owl necklace and earrings set as their RFL exclusive item. Both earrings and necklace can be resized by touch. Also an RFL item but only in their main store is the pretty “Mary Cassatt in Spring Violets” hat which was inspired by this painting by Mary Cassatt.

Kiddo Oh of Dead Dollz has designed these cute little dresses for We Love Roleplay. When I saw them, they reminded me of a shepherdess and even a serving wench at Octoberfest LOL. There are 4 colours (blue, green, red and pink) available and come in the standard mesh sizes.

beauty and glamour…

Kiddo Oh of Dead Dollz has put a lot of work and time in designing some stunning gowns for Miss Virtual World. These gowns were for various MVW contestants and are now in store. Let’s look at three of my favourites!

The “Andalusia” gown is inspired by the flamboyant Andalusian traditional clothing. This hour-glass shape gown was worn by Miss Virtual Spain. The tight corset features a distinctive embroidery while a black lace decorates the chest. It comes with two floral embroidered mantons (one with a pose and one without), traditionally worn by flamenco dancers. The manton with the pose is more of a gift as it was meant to be worn on the catwalk during Miss Virtual World’s National Costumes Show. The other manton is copy/mod so you can add your own poses if you want.

DiamondGem is a beautiful gown with a long, full skirt with a sheer, organza top and a thin gold belt.

My favourite of the three is Shinobi. The inspiration for this gown is not the typical kimono but is attributed to the shinobi, or ninjas as they are better known as. A female shinobi uses seduction to get close to their prey and this dress is certainly seductive. I love the sheer bodice embellished with an embroidered sakura tree and the sexy long-slit skirt. The obi is a tribute to Geisha’s traditional clothing.

Sax Shepherd, owner of Sax Shepherd Designs, has also been very busy the past six months and has finally released his exquisite Aphrodite collection. The set consists of jewelry and shoes (which will be blogged soon). The Jewelry Collection includes a choker, a pair of bracelets, a cocktail ring, a headpiece diadem and 2 sets of earrings. The jewel options include diamonds, pearls, ruby and onyx. The jewels are divided into 3 zones allowing for plenty of mix and match options.  All the pieces are 100% original mesh and materials enabled.

Another busy person has been Ikon Innvoia of IKON. They’ve just released their beautiful Deadshine Eyes. Each colour purchase includes 10 shine colours in both regular eyes and mesh eyes with a hud for effects. There are 57 colours to choose from. I love IKON eyes and wear them probably 95% of the time.

The “Scream” Mask

Eclectica’s newest necklace design reminds me of the mask the killer wore in the Scream movie. I don’t know if anyone else gets that impression; it may just be my sick, twisted, little mind. 🙂

At Jewelry & Accessory Expo 2014, Eclectica’s exclusive is the ‘Maruska’ necklace and earrings set. The set is inspired by Art Nouveau jewelry, and the work of Alphonse Mucha. The jewelry is 100% original mesh and materials ready. Maruska comes in gold and silver; each with a hud to change the stone colours and to change the metal to look new or vintage old.

There is also a gacha machine filled with big, beautiful flower rings. There are 16 ring colours to win and each colour comes for the left and right hand.

It’s December and that means it’s Arcade time. Katat0nik’s gacha goodies are the adorable Toy Boots. You can wear these colourful boots with and without SLink mid feet. There are 11 common boots and 1 rare pair (the rainbow). You will find some of the boot patterns in other clothing designed by owner Katat0nik Pidgeon, which is awesome! This round of the Arcade runs until the end of December, so plenty of time to get down there and grab several pairs of boots.

trip to the space station…

All kids love school trips; it gets them out of the classroom and work for a few hours and is usually loads of fun. Today we went to the DSX Space Station; nirvana for any geek girl.

I wore my new Comical Dress from katat0nik at the Geeks ‘n’ Nerds event. These cute dresses are made specifically for the SLink Physique mesh body and comes in 7 fun colours and patterns. The dress is made from a sweatshirt material which makes for a very comfy wear. You can wear it as a mini dress or pair it with leggings or jeans for another look. Really, you’re only limited by your imagination.

new friends and food too…

Sshhhh don’t tell the teacher but I played hooky and went to the carnival.  Of course I made a beeline for the food stall for some goodies and while there made a new friend with a cute baby elephant.

Today’s post has been brought to you by Xiasumi School Festival. My school uniform is from C’est la vie! It’s a cute one-piece with a hud to change skirt textures, blouse textures and both tie and ribbon textures. I love the different colour plaids you can change the skirt and ribbon into especially. Wasabi Pills provides the cute new girly hairstyle that flatters me so. 😉 And I’m loving my shoes and socks by VCO. I need to get a few more colours.

Now onto the food. The 2 little ghosts are acting as security I see. There’s so much to choose from and knowing me I’ll want one of everything!
