Dinner dates at Insilico

I love the futuristic look of Insilico and decided to explore some of the eating establishments. Paper Moon provided my sexy dress for my dates from the World Goth fair.

The black leather dress has a middle skirt that comes in various textures. Each texture has a hud that allows you to change the colours of the belt and skirt separately. Also available at the WGF from Paper Moon comes a matching leather clutch in 5 textures that also has a hud with the same colours as the dress.

Sugar Skulls from Sax Shepherd

I love sugar skulls and day of the dead and for this year’s World Goth Fair, Sax Shepherd designed a beautiful pair of Calavera Sugar Skull boots. These boots come in 7 leather colours to choose from, each with a hud to change the lace, eyelets and piping colours. You can also change the sugar skull image from greyscale to colour. I HAD to have a pair of these amazing boots.

For the gachas Sax designed a gorgeous choker and earring set called Coffin Jewelry. There are several metals and several designs in the gachas except for the Ankh, Pentacle and Skull versions in Gunmetal. These 3 are for sale in the booth with 50% of the proceeds going to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation charity.

Both the jewelry and boots are 100% original mesh designed.

World Goth Fair enters second week

World Goth Fair is into its second week and runs to June 1st. The event chose the Sophie Lancaster Foundation as their charity for this year.

Lolapop has a couple of hot dresses in their booth and you don’t have to be a goth to wear them. My favourite is the Dahlia Dress. It has a halter style top and falls below the knees with a ruffle edge and slit up one side to show of your sexy thigh. A hud comes with this dress and there are 5 textures/colours to switch between. This mesh dress comes in the standard sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

The Memories Dress is a very short mini with some great colour combinations and spikey shoulder pads. This is the perfect dress to go clubbing and dancing in. A hud comes with it and you have 5 hot colour changes. I love this dress and feel very sexy wearing it. The dress comes in the standard mesh sizes and 50% of sales goes to the charity.

It’s World Goth Fair time again!

World Goth Fair is an annual Second Life event, officially sanctioned by World Goth Day to benefit the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. The fair runs from May 15th to June 1st.

Jackal Ennui, owner of Lassitude & Ennui, has created the beautiful Mystic dress, which comes in 4 colours, standard sizes, rigged mesh and best viewed with materials. I love the look and the colours of this dress and I loved wearing it. The Orchid colour is the donation colour with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity (colour in photo below). You can pick up these dresses for 250L each.

The Ravenskull Necklace is unrigged mesh and I would say this definitely unisex. It comes in 4 colours and Black is the donation item with 100% of its proceeds going to the charity. Each necklace is 90L. I really like this necklace; it went well with the gown.

Lola by Zanzibar Creations @ World Goth Faire 2013

So I have this awesome friend, Arora Zanzibar, who has this awesome store called “Zanzibar Creations (.: ZcZ :.)” and I like to drop hints on what kind of stuff I like to wear. This time she took one of my hints and made this super awesome Cyber Goth Outfit that comes with boots. The plus side of this dress is there are 2 versions: the colours and the darks. Each version, along with the boots, comes with a hud to change the textures of the items you are wearing. I mean talk about how neat that is. I swear this woman is a machine. She’s always building and designing stuff all the time and she amazes me to no end.

Oh I guess I should say why I’m worshipping her like a goddess. Well there are times when I like to pretend items named “Lola” are named after be but this time its definitely true!! So staying true to my personality she made something sexy and with edge cuz you know I’m all like that in my tiny body. Up first I’m showcasing the Colours version. As you can see I was able to coordinate my boots with my dress perfectly.

The next dress is the Dark Colours and via the hud you can change the biohazard design while keeping a sexy little black dress on.

I also wanted to showcase the new hair in this post, its by Alice Project and is called “Arctica” and is also available at WGF. Last but not least the beautiful necklace by ::collisions:: I love the intricate detail of the necklace.

Draconic Kiss @ World Goth Fair

One of the few stores I shopped at when I was beginning my phase of gothic lolita in SL was at Draconic Kiss I loved all her dresses and I loved that you could win them also in a lucky chair. Oh how I stalked that chair with a vengeance. The prices at Draconic Kiss were pretty reasonable and she was one of a handfull of EGL designers that gave items on all clothing layers. When sculpts became more prevalent in clothing, she dove head forward into creating lots of lovely sculpted items. She is not just a EGL designer she also designs some of the most rad costumes ever. For a while we hadn’t heard from the creator behind Draconic Kiss and then out of nowhere she released her first mesh dress. It was so beautiful with the floral designs on the skirt.

Now you are wondering…Hey Lola! quit with the yapping and show us some pictures already. So I will digress into my first picture. The first item being offered by Draconic Kiss is the Lillabeth Outfit that features a mesh corset and skirt that are menu driven by a hud. This particular item is a 100% donation item for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. I am always wearing the Black Widow Necklace which is a 50% donation to WGF.

The last outfit is called “Wilted Blossoms” and is a 50% donation. This particular outfit is available in several colors. I love the floral detail on the dress. I am wearing the color “Putrid”.

Sn@tch & Nuuna’s Skins @ World Goth Fair

Today I’m focusing on two brands for this particular post. The first is the lovely skin by +Nuuna’s Skins+ and the other is the lovely partial mesh outfit from Sn@tch. Nuuna is known for her beautiful makeup tattoos and recently her skins have been garnering much needed acclaim. Nuuna has always been super talented. Even before she opened her store I loved her blog and the looks she created with each post. When she came out with a store, I bought a few things. But I always know if I want uniquely beautiful makeup I can go to her store. The skin I purchased at World Goth Fair during Blogger Preview Day was the exclusive version and it was pretty affordable at 300L. As for Sn@tch I think I have sang my praises of Ivey many of times on this blog. The outfit she has set out as a exclusive item is available in a gajillion colors as always.

Up first I’m going to give you a close-up of the corset and the wonderful skin. I am wearing another pair of eyes from RUE called princess. And I accented my outfit with accessories from Bliensen + MaiTai.

The outfit also comes with gloves and leather pants. I decided to wear my fave pair of heels with the outfit by N-Core, but you can wear a nice pair of boots with the outfit also.

:{MV}: at World Goth Fair

So about a month ago I discovered :{MV}: aka Malfean Visions owned by Lokii Violet. I was so excited to find a new goth store with a ton of amazing items. I loved how all her creations intermingled with each other. What I really lusted for were her boots and shoes. I mean this lady makes some sexy shoes and boots. And well since I like to hoard I welcomed them to inventory wholeheartedly.

There are three special outfits set out as exclusive items at WGF. I am going to showcase all of them. And yes this post is going to be picture heavy since I also wanted to showcase the lovely skin by Voshie Paine for la petite morte. Voshie has 6 makeup versions for the ophelia skin line and the 6th makeup version is an exclusive version for WGF.

First up is the Isabella Dress. I chose the color Vitae because it sounded all kinds of exotic to me. Lo and behold it was a beautiful dark red color. I love the lace piping detail on the bodice and the intricate fabric detail. I especially loved the skirt, it reminded me of the styles of skirts that are currently in right now, the high/low skirts.

The second outfit is the Bad Habit Dress. This dress is a strapless tube dress with wonderful texture work. It features a upside down crucifix as a design on the bottom of the dress so I pulled out one of my fave makeups from Sn@tch to match the dress. The dress is short and sexy and shows a fun playful side with just a splash of color. The texture work is amazing as always.

Last but not least is the Hallows Dress. This outfit comes with a underbra corset and a posture collar along with a lovely pair of boots. I loved how beautiful the pieces worked together and I didn’t have a hard time fixing things to my size (i.e. the prim skirt). I loved the rich colorful texture work and I can’t believe but Lokii got me to wear pink items 2 times in this post LOL.

Sakide, Plastik, Bliensen & MaiTai, & Half-Deer @ World Goth Fair

I know you are wondering what in the bloody hell I’m doing trying to shove in so many brands in one post. Well since I just received these blogger packs within the last two days I’m trying my best to showcase as many as I can before World Goth Fair officially opens tomorrow.

I decided to blog all of the outfits that Sakide was offering as special items for World Goth Fair. And I knew that the skin on offer from Plastik would be a great match with the outfits. I coordinated the outfits with jewelry/hair accessory by Bliensen + MaiTai and finished of with some wicked horns by Half-Deer.

The first look is the Inkubus outfit by Sakide. I chose purple because it is the color I’m associated the most with in SL. I knew I had to kick up my look so I pulled out some of my favorite makeups by +Nuuna’s Skins+. I loved the contrast and fell in love with the look immediately. I am also wearing 2 sets of tattoos, and if you look closely it appears a tentacle is sneaking out my nether regions, never fear its just a awesome Cthulhu tattoo LOL.

The second look reminded me of something JLo would wear and I chuckled a bit and I was like what what boricua in the house. So I kept the look simple, the bodysuit is named Lucretia (btw a awesome song by Sisters of Mercy) and it comes with a collar so need for a necklace but I still kept the hair accessory. Nothing like a dead moth just chilling in your hair.

The last outfit is called Concubine, so I went for the Dark Red Color. I thought about going classic goth with the look but I just couldn’t pull myself away from the look I created so far. So I kept the makeup the same and added a necklace by Bliensen + MaiTai.

Bliensen + MaiTai has more releases available for World Goth Fair, I just sampled a few. Last but not least the amazing horns by Half-Deer. I love the color and style of the horns. Adoness & Beautiful Freak @ World Goth Fair

It is that time of year when us goths get to revel in all the new designs from our favorite designers as well as discover new designers. World Goth Fair has been around in SL for a few years and it is scheduled to open its doors on the 15th of May. The charity that benefits from this event is the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. If you are not familiar with the back-story I’ll give you a brief summary. Sophie, a goth, was living in London and one day a group of teenagers decided to beat her and her friend to death, just because they were perceived as goth. This is a huge issue in Europe and our donations can help those in need who have been afflicted by such beatings.

So let me divulge into the awesomeness I have been able to grab so far. I have a beautiful dress from adoness, its a classic victorian dress that is perfect for steampunk RP. Adoness also has 2 jewelry sets available but I am only showcasing the diamond set, there is also ruby available at her booth.

In the above pic, I accented the face with makeup and eyes that are to be released by Beautiful Freak at World Goth Fair. I swear there are a ton of colors to choose from and I love the doodle effect around the eyes.
