A new round of Room 69 has begun and Cila has set up a gacha machine in the room full of cute leather backpacks. There are 8 common colours and 2 rare colours for only 50L a play. The two rares are stitch blue and stitch pink and the black is one of the commons.

These backpacks came out just when I wanted to go for a wee hike across some farmland so I filled it up with water and other goodies and set out on my trek.

Here I am taking a rest in a rocking chair someone so kindly left out. Once I sat down I didn’t want to get up again, my feet were sore.

*katat0nik and [geek] at The Main Event:Winter

Week 1 of The Main Event: Winter is almost over and there’s another week to go (event ends Dec. 14th). Two more stores partaking in this event are [geek] and one of my favouties *katat0nik*.

I joined SL in 2007 and within a few days found *katat0nik* and fell in love with Kat’s designs. Her quirky and whimsical style touched me and I wanted to wear everything in the shop. Owner Katat0nik Pidgeon hand-draws all her designs and she has this wonderful love of colour that once again shows in her exclusive items for the main event.

At the event location is the Plushie Vest, which is white with a colour accent and zips up the front. It comes in 5 pastel colours and comes in standard mesh sizes. At the *katat0nik* main store location you’ll find the Bunny Plushie Stoles, which comes in the same 5 colours to match the vests. I love both of these items and the bunny stoles are particularly adorable with a large satin ribbon in the back.

[geek] always has something interesting out when they take part in events and I’m always excited to see what they provide. This time around they have cute wire horns and matching wire tails. The horns have some snow and a little snowman on it while the tails have some snow and snowballs in the curve of the tail. The horns and tails come in several matching colours and of course are mesh. You can find the wired horns at the main event and the tails at the [geek] main store.

Marshmallows’ has moved…

Yes Marshmallows has moved (new slurl below in credits) and has redesigned a lovely, new store. And along with the move Romy Dash, owner, has released some new pants and tops.

The pants bring us back to the ’70’s and I ADORE them. I had some exactly like these as a teenager and they bring me back to those days. They are mesh and come in 5 colours. The texturing is done very well. The new tops are also mesh and to me the texturing has a velvet look to them.

ALSO, Marshmallows is participating in Fashion Story Fair and I picked up these cool jeans there. You can find her items in the 60s-70s section (my favourite era for clothing). I’m also wearing the new Lassitude & Ennui mesh lace booties for SLink feet, which can be found in this round’s Boutique.

Dressing for Saturdays

Romy Dash of Marshmallows has just released a new dress called Saturday. This is a cute, comfortable dress I would mostly wear during the day but you can dress it up with accessories, as I did below in black, and wear it for a night on the town. Go from day to night with one dress. The dress comes in all the normal mesh sizes in blue, green, beige and black.
